Small cafe. We dropped in for a coffee and cake, it was tasty but the price was 3.5e for a piece of cake hmyyy. The service was nice but without any great wow or enthusiasm for the customer. The tables were very small and the chairs were tiny, not very comfortable for tall people. After entering we didn't even get a menu so I went to the cash register to order something.

Lovely cafe in the centre of Westport. Lovely friendly staff and service. Really yummy breakfast bap. Lovely looking cakes!

What a difference - we visited here a few years back and service - food everything was terrible - now however there has been a total transformation - food excellent - service excellent - the sun was shining so it made for a perfect setting - the owner even had time to have a chat with us - we will definitely return

Brehon Bar

29/12/2024: On a recommendation we visited the Brehon Bar for the seafood chowder. Unfortunately John Durkan mustn't have been fishing that day as his famous chowder was lacking it's main component,fish! A bowl of milky fish water with a couple of slithers of the side of a fish does not constitute a famous chowder also priced at €13.50 which I wouldn't have minded paying if only it had some substance and flavour. Besides that service and ambience great!
