Ghan House in Carlingford

What a stunning property with amazing bedrooms and literally walk across the road to sea front walk and amazing views of Northern Ireland

Just returned from GH after a 2-night birthday celebration & it was just perfect from start to finish. The house itself, the staff, service, rooms..everything was just wonderful. But the food needs a special mention, every morsel was delicious. We were lucky to be there for the Christmas Candlelight dinner (tasting menu) with carols & songs from the musicals by soprano Sarah McCourt. Thank you Paul & team for a memorable stay. We arrived at Ghan house after getting drenched on the Slieve Foy loop. We were greeted with a warm fire in reception and a spacious room, with soft music playing in the background, a four poster bed, and large windows overlooking the garden. A very serene welcome to an otherwise maddening day. We had a fabulous four course dinner here with the some unique wines, and topped off our overnight with a multitude of cold and hot offerings. 10/10 experience - we absolutely would return.

We had a fabulous overnight stay at Ghan House. It is very comfortable and the staff were excellent. We had a delicious 4 course dinner and a lovely breakfast the following morning.

We had a lovely meal there tonight to celebrate mums birthday. The food and service were excellent. It is a beautiful house with great period features and in a lovely setting. Would highly recommend.
