Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club in Maynooth

There was no seating in the bar after meal, the only area at reception was only place for a drink which was freezing, staff did try to put fire to heat but didn't work. Was so cold had to move down to lift areas,then had to sit here with coats on. It's ridiculous that a hotel if this size has no seating area for those that want to have a drink.The arkle bar was full of people having bar food. We tried to get a table in the bar for 3 hours.

A beautiful hotel with all the amenities unfortunately as always the bar staff are reactive rather than proactive. They should be retrained to serve more than one person a time. I had to leave my seat at the side bar and walk around to get a bar person to serve me.

Eduardo on reception is a gem to deal with, very helpful and is pure sunshine on a damp winters evening. All the staff are really nice and I enjoyed my time at the Glen Royal.

Very friendly staff, food very good abs beds very comfy. Kids loved the pool and very accessible from motorway with good parking and EV charging on site.

Amazing location so central to Maynooth main street, which has some lovely cafes and restaurants. The staff were all lovely that work there. The swimming pool in the hotel is a nice added treat. Definitely worth the trip.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Glenroyal Hotel! The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The atmosphere of the hotel is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service—especially from the receptionist, Patrik, who was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I highly recommend Glen Royal Hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay!
