Way overpriced food and drink .. 13 for a glass of wine .. 28e for 4 fish gougons and a hand full of chips

Had a great time with family. Exceptionally well looked after and maintained hotel with excellent facilities

Room was very nice. The welcome we got at reception was so nice. They gave little bags to the children with sweets and activities. My 3 year old was delighted. Dinner menu was very expensive so we chose to eat elsewhere but that was mainly due to our fussy eaters. Wouldn’t mind paying for a lovely meal if it was going to be eaten but when you have a child that takes a bite and decides he doesn’t like it you tend to be a bit more wary! The breakfast spread was lovely and had great options. However the waiters and waitresses need to learn a bit of professionalism as the continue to give out in front of the guests. There was young man who in front of me called guest weirdo for asking him to show him where the bathroom. He also made fun and gave out about guests because they were looking for something belonging to a child. We all know how attached they can get to things. I know we all give out but to essentially have a group of staff bitching about guests in front of customers just really let the place down.

The hotel was perfect, we went to celebrate a birthday and they made it really special with a birthday card and birthday treat in room when we arrived. I would highly recommend it.

Great gym and swimming, saunas, steam room and jacuzzi...

Brilliant hotel! Very family friendly, great staff and great facilities. A friendly atmosphere and somewhere you would definitely like to spend a bit of time about. Breakfast superb,we would all love to go back!

We enjoyed our stay, lovely room, great breakfast and enjoyed a snack in the Shoda market café.

The hotel is easily accessible from the train station, and there's a SuperValue store and other restaurants and pubs nearby. It's always clean, the breakfast is plentiful, and the recreational areas, like the gym and pool, are impressive!

The internet in the rooms was shaky big disappointment (internet) , and the gym locker rooms were gross (poop in ground near the changing areas) , needless to say the gym and spa is public so don’t expect a luxury spa treatment at this place …. Good location close to shops, the food was pretty good . The don’t have enough luggage carts here , so be prepared to carry your own luggage up and down (we had a ton of bags with our family).

I was in shoda with my niece and nephew, food was lovely good selection of gluten free foods, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
