I really thought I’d never enjoy fish and chips like I did when I live in the UK……but this place is truly beyond fantastic ….if your within this chippy…..get yourself down there …..you won’t be Sorry……these guys cook their fish and chips as good as any Englishman if not better….enjoy

Best take away without a doubt been going here for a long time and never disappoints the lads are sound out the prices are way better then anywhere else and the food is so nice I’ll be coming back here for many more years to come keep up the great work👏🏻

Consistently good, batter could have been a lot crisper. Mushy peas need seasoning as they tasted very bland. Chips were just about okay, curry sauce was very good . Been coming here since a teenager in the 80s a and it rarely let's you down. Portion size was excellent. Value for money is very good.

Comida y servicio de primera calidad con personal siempre dispuesto a hacer un esfuerzo extra. Excelente tarta de patata. (Aparentemente hay un lugar en Cahersiveen que es más barato, pero IT es un poco de trekking para una cena de los jueves) Gracias por las bromas, me alegraron el día. David M

Top quality food and service with staff always willing to go the extra mile .!! Excellent potato pie.!! (Apparently there’s a place in Cahersiveen that’s cheaper, but it’s a bit of a trek for a Thursdays dinner) Thanks for the banter, made my day.! David M

15/10/2025: Had dinner at Cornstore Cork and went for the three-course set menu. I got the salad for the starter, the cauliflower steak for the main, and the flourless chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream for dessert. Overall, everything was fine nothing exceptionally good, but nothing to complain about either. The food was decent, the service was friendly, and the evening was pleasant. That said, it didn’t quite leave a lasting impression, so I’d say probably not one I’d rush back to. Ratings: 🍴 Food: 3.5/5 🛎 Service & Ambience: 4/5 💸 Value for Money: 3.5/5

20/11/2025: Really nice experience. Fillet steak was fabulous. We had a large group and they looked after everyone really well.
13/11/2025: I plan and schedule monthly private dinners with my group of friends in Cork. Most of us loved our food and service was absolutely great, we loved our waiter. One of my friends however had an issue with her pasta, where it tasted overly salty to the point where she couldn’t finish it, we all tried it. Pretty sure something accidentally happened there but she relied on her side dish as her main meal. Otherwise would be back again!
