Food was only ok , service ok would try again but was not blown away

Tasty food, beautiful setting, great staff. Highly recommend. Only gave 4 out of 5 stars as there was a mistake with my gluten free dish, but the staff were very good overall, the food was excellent and we’d happily return here again. We’d particularly recommend the duck and the fillet steak

Lovely cosy pub with good choice of food,would definitely recommend a visit.

What a great find! Everything was perfect after a long day exploring, hiking. To fall upon this place, was the perfect end to a perfect day! Food very varied, great choice, and very reasonably priced. Staff very helpful and attentive. A must visit for everyone, anyone passing through this beautiful place!

Staff were very kind and welcoming. Food was delicious. We were in for mother's day and the owner gave a bouquet of roses to every mammy in the restaurant. A very thoughtful gesture. Will definitely be back again!

Very cosy with lovely food including venison ,duck and good desserts.

Services was great, fish was good I would suggest homemade chips instead of frozen 🥶

Sat in on a busy Saturday evening without a reservation, all of the staff were very receptive and offered genuinely friendly service. Great food at a fair price, and you can’t complain about cold pints beside a roaring fire!

The food and beer was fantastic we were early for lunch on a Tuesday I could not fault anything.

We went for dinner on St Patrick’s day, everything was exceptional. The pub is in a really scenic spot across the lake. The staff was quick to take our orders and bring the food. Everything we had (chicken supreme, lamb shank, chowder, sweet potato fries and tomato pasta for the kid) was really nice and tasty. The owner was really helpful. Truly recommend if you are passing by !
