Lovely place for a bite and a drink. I stopped in here during a trip, based on local recommendation and had a delicious fish and chips meal. A very friendly and helpful young lad served me, I think his name may have be Oran or something similar. He couldn't have been a better host. Highly recommended!

The Goosers Bar and Restaurant is located ib Ballina, Co. Tipperary on the shores of Lough Derg. We were greeted warmly by the Restaurant manager and although we didn't have a reservation a cosy table was found for us. A Well priced menu with lots of choice to be enjoyed in cosy surroundings. We're looking forward to a return visit...

Perfect visit. Friendly staff and good food.

Over 15yrs since I last visited & on talking with the waitress she told me that the place has changed hands & the rear venue area done up, the rest of the pub is how I knew it, although the fish tanks have gone from the hallway to the toilets, which by the way are spotless. We only ordered 2 starters, mussels & the wings, the mussels were large & there was a good pile of them sitting in an absolutely gorgeous sauce & the wings just slid off the bones & also had a small salad beside them. Both plates were devoured by me & I could barely move myself to drive home. Hubby said the Guinness was excellent & creamy

Best chowder I’ve ever had. Scampi was also very nice.

Visited Goosers Today Party of 5 children & 5 Adults Got a nice Private Area with a T V for kids Food & Service Excellent Needs a small wall heater to heat the small area . Will definitely be back
