Goosers in Ballina

Stopped into Goosers and it’s an absolute gem of a little bar/restaurant. Ambience: We grabbed a seat in the bar area beside the fire — perfect spot for settling in with a few Guinness. On a wet winter’s night, you honestly couldn’t design a better setting. It has that proper cosy Irish pub feel: warm lighting, great buzz, and a relaxed energy that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. Service: Top notch from start to finish. Food: Outstanding. The ribeye steak was genuinely epic — cooked perfectly and so tender it cut like butter. Full of flavour and done exactly right. The chips were beautifully crispy, and the peppercorn sauce tied it all together — rich, punchy and seriously tasty. A proper 10/10 dish. Even the Guinness were spot on — creamy and fresh. It’s the kind of place that reminds you how good a simple pub experience can be when it’s done properly. Can’t wait until I’m passing through again — it’s absolutely a must-stop spot.

Fantastic servers. They were killer and so sweet and attentive. The bartender was super nice and made an awesome experience of the old fashioned that was also just the best I’ve ever had. It was nice because we were sat in the back part which is less cozy and dark but it was nice and quiet. We were also there on a Wednesday so it wasn’t crazy busy

Menu very limited. Out of a lot of dishes.

Fantastic Pub, wonderful time had by all our group. We enjoyed great food. Lovely staff, incredible cocktails!

Came here for dinner with my wife and our friends. We all really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The restaurant looks much better in person than in the photos. We'll definitely be back.
