Excellent, the coconut chili mussels dish is killer... The mussels are local and super well cooked. The staff is very pleasant and welcoming although the restaurant is crowded.

Been coming to Clifden for 30 years and first time in Guy's. Absolutely fantastic. Chowder excellent. Great music. Guinness Perfect. Staff friendly and professional. Looking forward to coming here for the next 30 years!

Great food, service and vibe. I had the best seafood chowder ever and chicken curry main. My wife had two specials, steamed mussels and seafood skillet. Very nice atmosphere with live trad music 6-7:30pm. Very fair price. We will definitely return. Photos of mains attached.

Very good restaurant. Authentic Irish cuisine. We had the daily special and it was delicious. The oysters were wonderful. The servers are very caring. We highly recommend.

We had supper at Guy’s bar on Saturday evening. The atmosphere was buzzing, the service was impeccable and the food delicious. We loved that the menu showcased local providers. Recommend the ribeye beef burger, the seafood skillet and the brown bread ice cream.

06/06/2025: This is a great restaurant in the pretty town of Clifden (a word of advice: make a reservation!). The decor is chic and welcoming. A menu that emphasizes seafood, but we also enjoyed some very good Irish meat, accompanied by a delicious whisky sauce, of course. Not to mention a great wine list from Europe, South America, New Zealand, and more.
