Harte's in Kildare

A little disappointing. Went here with friends at the weekend. The starters and desserts were lovely, though almost €20 for a prawn starter was very steep. The mains were disappointing. A tiny piece of fish on a risotto for one and when asked to change the risotto for potato it was a hardship. The best part of the meal were the cocktails we got to start.

Went for lunch, I visited the restaurant many years ago and had fond memories of a wonderful meal and decided to try the place again. I had the slow cooked braised steak it was delicious for dessert Crème brulee. The atmosphere was buzzing the service excellent with super efficient friendly staff the food divine. I would recommend the restaurant for all occasions.

I've been going here quite a while now, and the food has been top-notch. The food is still delicious, but I find the portion size is smaller and is more expensive. It's hard to get parking near as it's only on street parking.

The staff was really welcoming, very kind all of them and the food was just stunning. I order the beef and omg, all gorgeous, every inch of it ✨️ Honestly if you're around take a nice dinner, cocktail and nice conversation, that's the place. I highly recommend it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well deserved reputation as a top class gastro pub. The ambience was welcoming and our waiter Ben was fabulous. It was our first time dining here and it will certainly not be our last The food was delicious and the flavours in the sea bass were absolutely beautiful. It was truly a 10 out of ten experience.

This is a wonderful gastro pub with both great ambiance and food! A bit more elegant than a pub, but still a comfortable pub feel. We enjoyed it. Service was very good as well. My husband had a lovely roast beef dish that was melt-in-your-mouth tender.
