Harte's in Kildare

What a gorgeous meal we had here. The service, and food, was great and a great price. Will definitely be back!!

A great little gastro pub in the centre of Kildare town. I always get the 'blade of beef' when I visit. A lovely occasional treat! The food is simply delicious 😋 and, while not cheap, it's pritty good value for what you get. 😃

Even though restaurant was closing they accommodated me. Great food and home brew stout.

The food was delicious and well presented. The staff was super friendly. The menu can be easily adapted to cater for coeliacs.

Hrtes is a restaurant with decent service – the staff was polite and attentive. The food was okay, nothing exceptional but satisfying. One major downside was the noise level – the place is connected to a bar, making it very loud and hard to enjoy a relaxed meal. Overall rating: 3/5.

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere as always. Very fair price for what you get. Staff are very friendly. For the life of me I can’t understand how Hartes only has a rating of 4.5, lots of restaurants in Kildare have the same score and are no where near as good as Hartes.

After yesterday's dinner a big disappointment. My family and I were very frequent guests at the restaurant because the food was fantastic. Unfortunately after yesterday's dinner we changed our minds. I have no idea what happened maybe the chef changed? Oh well I hope the high standard of food will return soon 🤷🏼‍♀️

Seats by the fire were taken so we ventured further in. Food was only ok, plates cold, food lukewarm. If you don’t like pate or Kiev - you have no other chicken choice. Menu is very limited. €10 for potato skins!!!!!

A little disappointing. Went here with friends at the weekend. The starters and desserts were lovely, though almost €20 for a prawn starter was very steep. The mains were disappointing. A tiny piece of fish on a risotto for one and when asked to change the risotto for potato it was a hardship. The best part of the meal were the cocktails we got to start.

Well deserved reputation as a top class gastro pub. The ambience was welcoming and our waiter Ben was fabulous. It was our first time dining here and it will certainly not be our last The food was delicious and the flavours in the sea bass were absolutely beautiful. It was truly a 10 out of ten experience.
