Hayfield Manor Hotel in Cork

Absolutely amazing hospitality, grounds and rooms. Drove up and they took care of everything else, offered us tasting of a complimentary locally sourced mead at check in while bringing our entire families luggage from. Everyone was friendly with a smile, kind comment and offers of recommendations if asked for. The bar had a wide and brilliant selection of Irish whiskeys in particular with the rest of their drinks. I can't recommend this hotel any higher, just amazing all around.

Fabulous Hotel and great location

Had a completely delightful stay at Hayfield Manor. From the moment you step onto the grounds, you are greeted by people who genuinely interested in you and the quality of your stay. Had a wonderful dinner at the bistro, and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Can’t recommend the place enough. I could tell that each employee went above and beyond.

Excellent! I was not expecting such a lovely place! Beautiful room and breakfast buffet! We only stayed one night and would have loved to stay longer.

Stayed here after completing the first half of @the69run around Ireland! Honestly, couldn't rate this Hotel and its staff high enough! Someone give me a 6 Star button.... See you guys again!

Everything about hotel was nice, but some areas shone more than others. Staff were lovely, food was great, the entrance hall is impressive. There is buffet part of breakfast but lovely to have actual menu and full service. It's right beside UCC for stroll but that means it's a drive to get anywhere else. The pool area didn't match the standard of the hotel, the plastic bench seating which needed a clean and plastic hedge at jacussi just made it feel a bit cheap .and the paint that needed an update/clean. The rooms were nice, I needed to change rooms due to facilities issue but staff were very helpful. I enjoyed stay but it's rated 5 star, i would say felt more like 4.75.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for our wedding anniversary. We were thrilled to discover upon arrival we’d been upgraded to a suite. The room was superb. The amenities included 2 tvs, a record player, a golf putting simulator. There were also books and magazines to read, never mind some anniversary chocolates and drinks. We were spoiled. The turn down service was a nice touch too, with ice being provided to the room for our drinks each night too. The breakfast was plentiful, and for any coeliacs they could only be thrilled with the selection on offer. The dinner was expensive - 80 euro for a steak main course is OTT. But there was other food that was cheaper, including the 50 euro beef or 47 euro duck. Other fish was also cheaper, around the 40 euro mark. The food itself was delicious and the staff serving very attentive. There was a pianist in the foyer playing quite a lot over the weekend which added to the ambiance. The pianist himself was as friendly and welcoming as the concierge. The swimming pool was lovely and the outdoor hot tub amazing. Definitely one of the highlights. While there is a steam room, a sauna would have been the icing on the cake. My wife also used the spa and was very pleased with how it went. We asked to extend our check out till 1pm and this was accommodated no problem. Overall I was very impressed with the hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. In the days that followed we wished we could return already! Some day we will.
