Heights Hotel Killarney in Killarney

Nice hotel. Hallways were a bit loud and had to request a fan as the room was very warm. The restaurant staff made me feel like a visiting someone's home. Very welcoming and the tomato bruschetta was the best thing I ate on my whole trip

Receptionist was snooty which i was not expecting and was disappointed. Room didn't smell great. Windows needed to be opened . View from room is wall 3 metres away and over growing trees. Tea facilities but no water provided for making tea?Breakfast was good. Only positive

El Heights Hotel está situado a una media hora a pie fuera de la ciudad... por lo que los huéspedes sin vehículos de motor encontrarán el comedor del hotel una de sus pocas opciones gastronómicas. Un grupo de ocho de nosotros decidimos cenar en el restaurante del hotel después de un largo día de gira. Estábamos sentados en una mesa redonda en un rincón agradable del comedor que tenía mucha luz desde el suelo hasta las ventanas del techo. Nuestro camarero era agradable y eficiente y tomó pedidos de bebidas rápidamente. Muchos de nosotros pedimos cheques separados y nos acomodaron sin problema. Ojalá hubiera tomado nota del nombre de nuestro joven camarero ya que era un activo para el establecimiento. Las mesas con fiestas grandes pueden ser un reto para cualquier camarero, y este compañero manejó nuestro grupo con facilidad. El menú es ecléctico. . . que ofrece platos irlandeses estándar, así como favoritos internacionales. Varios de nosotros elegimos un plato de pasta que era especial para la noche. El penne se mezcló con parmesano cremoso, guisantes y tocino y se sirvió con tostadas de ajo... y pedí una ensalada para acompañar. Todo bien preparado y agradable. Los precios son moderados. Recomiendo para aquellos que elijan no salir del hotel para cenar en la ciudad. Enjoy.

Had a lovely stay here while on a work trip. The hotel itself is located just a short walk from the town it’s self the rooms are spotless and offers a lovely bar on the hotel grounds.

Excellent Hotel to a very high standard. Dropped in for lunch on the way from Tralee. However the service was poor. Alot of staff but very disorganised.

Hotel was excellent. Staff very friendly, decent breakfast also. Two small issues. We had to leave our window open at night as room was very warm (no AC). The service entrance appeared to be below us. The noise from people going on and out and talking was extremely loud. We were kept awake and woken up both nights with the noise. We could hear 2 staff members at 2.30am discussing their shifts the next day. There was noise from the door opening and closing and what appeared to be bottles or delph being moved about. On our departure we were not asked did we enjoy our stay, was everything OK? I would have told them about the noise at that point!

Love the peace and quiet of the hotel, bed a little soft for me. Look at the setup of breakfast area though, I thought side plates should be available there and a better toaster. Every thing else was great, receptionists were very friendly and helpful, keep up the great work thanks

Not a terrible hotel, but not great. The room we had was next to an alley, the doors slam shut so a lot of noise in the hall. It also had a funny smell to it. We went to dinner 2 nights - the first night the service was great, especially the bartender. The 2nd night the service was awful, several times a server checked on a table next to us and didn't acknowledge we were there. When we paid the bill I told her that we would have ordered more drinks but no one ever came back to our table. She didn't seem surprised.
