Heights Hotel Killarney in Killarney

Had a lovely stay here while on a work trip. The hotel itself is located just a short walk from the town it’s self the rooms are spotless and offers a lovely bar on the hotel grounds.

Excellent Hotel to a very high standard. Dropped in for lunch on the way from Tralee. However the service was poor. Alot of staff but very disorganised.

Hotel was excellent. Staff very friendly, decent breakfast also. Two small issues. We had to leave our window open at night as room was very warm (no AC). The service entrance appeared to be below us. The noise from people going on and out and talking was extremely loud. We were kept awake and woken up both nights with the noise. We could hear 2 staff members at 2.30am discussing their shifts the next day. There was noise from the door opening and closing and what appeared to be bottles or delph being moved about. On our departure we were not asked did we enjoy our stay, was everything OK? I would have told them about the noise at that point!

Love the peace and quiet of the hotel, bed a little soft for me. Look at the setup of breakfast area though, I thought side plates should be available there and a better toaster. Every thing else was great, receptionists were very friendly and helpful, keep up the great work thanks

Not a terrible hotel, but not great. The room we had was next to an alley, the doors slam shut so a lot of noise in the hall. It also had a funny smell to it. We went to dinner 2 nights - the first night the service was great, especially the bartender. The 2nd night the service was awful, several times a server checked on a table next to us and didn't acknowledge we were there. When we paid the bill I told her that we would have ordered more drinks but no one ever came back to our table. She didn't seem surprised.

Had a group Lunch. The food and service was excellent! Very impressed.

Great hotel, will definitely use again

Wonderful stay, beautiful hotel.

I’m currently staying at Heights Hotel for two nights and both of those nights we’ve eaten dinner at the restaurant. The food is great, but the service was terrible. After our food was given to us we sat for over 35 minutes waiting for someone to come by so we could place and order for dessert. No one came. I had to walk up to the waitress to tell her that I wanted one and I needed the ticket. They never brought us the ticket we had to walk to the register to pay. One of the women that work at the front desk was extremely rude to my mother when she asked whether they exchanged money and told her to go to a pace that everyone knows where it’s at. Well we’re not from Ireland. I was also unaware that this hotel does not have AC which is fine because it wasn’t too hot and they did give us two small fans. Overall super disappointed with the service. Everyone we have met has been super nice in Ireland until we stayed here. Would not recommend at all
