We liked the hotel, although for the price the rooms were a bit old. They didn't have air conditioning, and we had hot days. We attended an event at the hotel and it was comfortable to stay there. The breakfast was decent.

Really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was quiet, relaxing, and the food was very good. The standout was the young barman (around 19, didn’t catch his name) — he was excellent. Funny, friendly, and hardworking. He brought great energy and made a big impression.

Avenue Hotel

19/05/2025: We loved this hotel. It's in a great location. There was plenty of on site, free parking, when we arrived. They offered us a very early check-in but we didn't need it as we departed for the Ring of Kerry in the mid-morning of our check-in date. The receptionist was wonderful giving us tips for our drive around the Ring and holding our bags and then having our bags in our rooms when we arrived later than evening. The bar was wonderful as was the breakfast. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. They have a laundry service which came in handy halfway through our 9 day trip in Ireland. I'd stay here again for sure.

18/08/2025: This 4-star hotel enjoys a beautiful location near Lake Leane, which borders the town of Killarney. The room amenities are high-quality. Unfortunately, the breakfast is not up to 4-star standards: frozen bread and pastries, jam and processed fruit, a limited selection of cold meats and fresh fruit, and an overall poor quality level. The value for money is not commensurate with the price paid. Very disappointed with this hotel.
