Had lunch here on a whim when passing by and made very welcome. A small and intimate restaurant that had a good atmosphere and regular customers. The food was the highlight and is highly recommended if visiting Kinsale.

Lovely atmosphere, thought the menu seemed a bit simple til the food came. Ordinary menu and extraordinarily yummy dishes at very reasonable prices. Our new favourite kinsale eatery, well be back 😀

Friendly welcome, Great service, Delicious food, Warm ambiance. We both had the herb crusted Hake. I had a glass of Aussie Chardonnay with my meal.

With a lovely eclectic mix of music in the background and lovely service, I enjoyed chef Ross's hake dish after a delicious piping hot tomato soup. High tide is atmospheric and tranquil without getting your feet wet.

We always enjoy visiting High Tide for the food, atmosphere, and food. They also allow dogs which is great for us. It is so cozy and both breakfast and dinner are fantastic.

Trident Hotel Kinsale

11/01/2025: Establishment benefiting from private parking, beautiful location near the marina and the town but with relatively high prices which continue to increase without offering more facilities (no possibility of dining in the restaurant, no lounge -be), very pleasant breakfast with a buffet which has a good choice of dishes.
04/01/2025: We just had an amazing stay at the trident, such superb views from the bedrooms and dining room. Staff were superb. Thanks so much for such a special evening

31/12/2024: Lovely spot in Kinsale with traditional food. We were served by Feintan very efficiently and friendly. Cosy atmosphere and fair prices for the giant portions. Very very tasty cup of chowder. Thanks!
15/12/2024: The only reason I can't give the room a 5 star is the telly. It is so small that you have to stand in front of it to see the screen, but who goes to Kinsales to watch TV. Great service, very nice and spot on staff. The food was top class and I definitely will be back. Best regards Brian Jacobsen, Fermoy Co.Cork
