Hooked in Galway

Worth the extra bit of walk to get here from the train station. We loved the food, had the paella special.

Great grilled fish and chips. Nice casual restaurant and good service.

My wife and i have been trying different restaurants in Galway and finally come to the conclusion that here is the best! The ingredients are fresh and the taste is beyond the description of "delicious". I shoul have said that fish n' chip is extremely gorgeous and was gone too fast to take a photo. Cannot recommend anywhere else for seafood in Galway! Although the restaurant is a bit out of the normal commercial area, it offers a sanctuary where you do not have to fight for air to breathe. Having said that, make sure you book or arrive early. It can be fully booked!

Delicious food. We have fisherman stew, monkfish goujons, and mussels. All is good. Service is fast and friendly.

It’s a great place to stay in and have a meal in general but you have to wait an eternity if you wasn’t booked a table in advance. We waited for 30 - 40 minutes and got a tiny table in the corner. The food was really tasty so I personally recommend the cousine of this restaurant if you don't take into account that at first our dose was mixed up. Well, this place is really popular in Galway and the crowd was enormous. We ate approximately a half hour and the waitress took our dishes off because of the crowd. As a result I may say that the food is cost to visit this restaurant but it has troubles with service.

Service was a bit slow, but the food was good. I had seafood risotto, one had the grilled fish and chips, and one had the seafood special. All delicious.

Spectacular food. The prawns are very fresh as are the mussels. Very good quality price. We will be back for sure!

Absolutely need a reservation unless you are going to show up right when they open. Place was packed within 10 min of opening. Oysters were nice and briny, prawn roll was a 7/10. Don't miss the Connemara Brewing Company Lager!

La comida aquí era absolutamente genial... Todo el mundo consiguió algo y disfrutó de su comida. Sin embargo, a pesar de estar ocupados, estábamos decepcionados con su servicio. Pusieron nuestro aperitivo, pero claramente olvidaron poner nuestras entradas. Después de 45 minutos, y sin poder contactar con nuestro camarero, finalmente le pregunté a una de las otras mujeres que trabajaban allí. Ella regresó y se dio cuenta de lo que pasó y dijo que pusieron en nuestra orden inmediatamente y que serían otros 10 minutos. Pero no había nada más que eso. No hubo disculpas reales, no hubo correo, comped, no hay un poco de pan mientras tanto, etc.
