Hooked in Galway

Worth the wait. Great food. The cod was pretty greasy but still tasted excellent. Muscles, Monkfish, and tiramisu were also excellent! Recommend!

Quality of the produce and the preparation was second to none. Great value for money, if I had to pick one restaurant to eat all my meals in Galway it would be this one. The special of scallop and chorizo fish cake and the prime fish (black sole today) with mushroom risotto and pesto were extremely good. The fisherman's stew kept yielding little tasty surprises. Would go back until I tried every item on the menu.

Excellent address for seafood. The octopus is simply divine

Came here on a Saturday evening for supper and got a table immediately. Servers were very kind and positive! I had the calamari, which was average and I honestly did not finish it. I also had the shrimp taco which was average as well. Sister had the octopus and while it was cooked perfect, the flavours just weren’t there. It was sadly a disappointing meal.

After 4 terrible fish and chip meals in Ireland this place was great. Large piece of fish with good fries and the batter was good and was cooked perfectly - so not greasy but light. Service was tasty and friendly.

A must-do. Hooked has a really nice atmosphere, the staff is super friendly, and the food was great. The onion rings and the breaded fried fish were unfortunately very greasy, but still very good. We would go again and definitely make a reservation.

La comida aquí era absolutamente genial... Todo el mundo consiguió algo y disfrutó de su comida. Sin embargo, a pesar de estar ocupados, estábamos decepcionados con su servicio. Pusieron nuestro aperitivo, pero claramente olvidaron poner nuestras entradas. Después de 45 minutos, y sin poder contactar con nuestro camarero, finalmente le pregunté a una de las otras mujeres que trabajaban allí. Ella regresó y se dio cuenta de lo que pasó y dijo que pusieron en nuestra orden inmediatamente y que serían otros 10 minutos. Pero no había nada más que eso. No hubo disculpas reales, no hubo correo, comped, no hay un poco de pan mientras tanto, etc.
