Just arrived home from our third excursion to Ballyvaughan! Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. Comfortable rooms; at great value. Information regarding local amenities and attractions readily available. In fact, anything you require assistance with, the staff are more than obliged to try to accommodate you. Unmatched atmosphere in the hotel bar, with excellent food and entertainment.

Lovely cosy hotel in a beautiful setting. Spotless comfortable rooms and amazing enthusiastic staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Great value for money. Lovely food. Good parking near the hotel. Great atmosphere in the bar at night with music. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful proper Irish bar in a beautiful town. Served by a wonderful chap Ger who was full of gossip. Had a burger and my daughter had carbona, both fine portions and very tasty. Even met the owner who was in checking up on renovations. Would recommend.

31/01/2025: Did not stay eaten a few times its amazing place
28/01/2025: While enjoying a 2-night stay we ate in the restaurants both nights. We'd often spoken of the seafood chowder since staying in Ballyvaughan at Easter 1991. Unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations this time. Too thick with a small amount of fish. We were also a bit disappointed in the mussels and the clams but OH enjoyed the fish pie. PS breakfast was good and very generous! With lovely seaview to enjoy too.
