Il Primo in New ross

Ate here on the bank holiday Monday at the end of October and it was extremely filling for the price we paid. The service was great, we were seated quickly, provided with free freshly baked bread and left with the menus. However, we did order a coke with our meal which never came but we were not charged for. Not sure if there was a staffing issue when we visited but there was only 1 waitress for the whole restaurant who was over about 8/10 tables that night. For 2 people we ordered a pizza, garlic bread, wedges and creamy chicken pasta with broccoli. All came out together, freshly cooked and were delicious. Overall an extremely satisfying restaurant with a good price point

In fairness the people of New Ross would be lost without this place. It's pasta and pizza, you can bring your own wine, there is plenty of space for a big group, on the whole the service is good, the food tasty enough and it's been running for about 25 years now I'd say. Not many places can say that. Ok its not an authentic Italian, but its grand. Don't expect fine dining and you won't be disappointed.

To be honest, this was one of the only restaurants open in New Ross on a Tuesday evening at 7pm! Good food and friendly efficient service although not much of an atmosphere but that was probably due to the few customers in there.

Pleasant Italian restaurant, delicious pasta, pizza and other food. The atmosphere is relaxing, there are not too many guests at once which I prefer

Well this place has delicious carbonara and is reasonably priced, the chef was wearing a magicians hat and he really cooked up some magic. Great traditional food, would definitely recommend

Unfortunately the food wasn't tasty, we're used to better. Even the lifer service was even tastier sry
