Great service and even better Italian food. Really enjoyed the atmosphere as well. Will definitely be back.

Lovely relaxing ambiance, great atmosphere and lighting. My only criticism would be that the music was a bit loud for me, but i realise that is personal preference. Food was very good and fresh and packed with flavour, we had 3 courses and each was as good as the next. Service was good and our waitress was very polite and helpful. Waiter who sat us down was very friendly too. Would recommend

Such a cute, cozy, friendly and delicious find in Galway! Service was excellent and the food was amazing. We got the gnocchi and carbonara. There was a live jazz band there when we visited also.

IL Vicolo was delicious the pasta is homemade and super fresh, it truly was a wonderful dining experience.

It has an authentic atmosphere, topped up by the well preserved old water wheel - a great communication between the present and the past. Every Sunday there is live Jazz music, which only adds to the charm of the place. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and it doesn't take long to feel comfortable and relaxed and fully enjoy it.

Abbiamo preso un risotto rape rosse e taleggio e delle lasagne con funghi e tartufo (piatto speciale del giorno). Il risotto molto buono e cotto al punto giusto, nonostante fosse guarnito con cipolle e rape sotto aceto che non erano specificate nel menù. Il tiramisù aveva i biscotti troppo inzuppati di caffè. Nel complesso abbiamo mangiato bene e il servizio è stato ottimo. Camerieri gentili e disponibili. Consigliato se si vuole mangiare italiano a Galway!

I’ve eaten here a few times now and have two major opinions. We had an Amazing dinner here the first time. Food was delicious, I had the mushroom truffle risotto which was fantastic. They let you taste any wine you like before ordering a full glass which is always appreciated. They had made a mistake with our booking and kindly gifted us with a full bottle of Prosecco to apologise alongside some complimentary olives. They had picked up on the fact that it was our friends birthday and surprised her with a candle and a sing song. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Second time I was here, food was good but not excellent. Some flavours were overpowering and the main which was gnocchi was simply not traditional and not very good. Dessert the second time was also subpar. It can be hit and miss here but I would overall recommend it! Every mushroom dish of theirs does always seem to be great

Lovely place for a date. The river side view is amazing. The service is great! And the staff was very very polite!

We enjoyed the modern Italian cuisine and the tapas were delicious. The outdoor dining area is charming and we enjoyed our dinner here.

What a great building. The venue it's self is worth a visit. The food and drink were great value for money.
