They make the tastiest curry’s I have ever had in Ireland and you can adjust the heat. Mild or hot there is so much flavour in the food. Well worth the trip off the beaten track. A hidden gem for all the foodies out there

18/12/2025: Fabulous hotel, great staff, pet friendly, the food was amazing!
25/11/2025: The Twelve is a 4 Star Boutique hotel located in the village of Barna. It is on the coast road to the West of Galway City. The Pins Gastro Pub serves great bar food. The setting is relaxed with lots of privacy. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The Twelve is easy to locate, plus it has free parking.

This award winning experience is spacious, charming and delightful which warrants the expectation of a wonderful atmosphere and visit. Championed by headchef Nathan Hindmarsh who prepares and showcases an inspired menu embracing land, fire and sea; with locally sourced Irish ingredients. Culinary and Service Excellence is the ethos of this Barna Gem. Warmly welcomed by restaurant manager Fergal Guiney who carries the accolade of being a trained sommelier - his bonus point is having a natural appreciation of fulfilling the guests' concept of an enjoyable experience'. This is a return bucket list treat to experience wonderful memories with family, friends, colleagues or corporate clients.
