Always a great pint in a friendly atmosphere, a must visit when I am in Killarney! One of the few remaining true family run bars that exist anywhere, a rare hidden gem.

From an English perspective this is what a local pub should be. Lovely owners (4/5th generation), great drinks, brilliant atmosphere. I learnt all of this having a couple at the bar :)

There are not too many pubs in Killarney that haven't been destroyed by tourists (sipping their one glass of stout for the 'experience'). But Jack C's is a lovely, welcoming bar. Small but cosy, and one I'll visit again.

22/05/2025: American who has traveled widely. First time in the Republic of Ireland, Killarney. Wanted a sweetie and stopped in at Killarney bakery. Had a chocolate croissant and a coffee. Absolutely amazing pastry that rivals the best pastry I had in Paris. Met the owner, Jeremy. He was friendly and provided great food and service. Had a special order coffee and he accommodated my special order. Would highly recommend.
