Very nice Bar. Friendly and highly knowledgeable staff. And an excellent pint of stout. Was sad I had to leave! 10/10 would go again

Had my first two days in Jack C's and it'll be not the last Time. ;) I've met so many kind people including the staff:) Thanks for having a small German Guy in your Pub. See you next year 😄

Could not have asked for a better experience. Our bartender, Ian, was wonderful. We chatted, learned more about the area and I'll tell you this Killarney is a place you'll not want to leave. It's gorgeous, the people are lovely and Jack C's was by far the best bar we've been to in Ireland. We've been traveling all over the country for two weeks and if you're after a relaxed local vibe with the best pint of Guinness you'll find...STOP. You're here. Pints and pups 10/10

21/03/2026: My wife and I visited the restaurant right after it opened at 4 PM on a weekday. We ordered two beers and a platter of mussels and salmon. It was my first time drinking draft Guinness since arriving in Ireland. Despite being a dark beer, it was incredibly creamy and fantastic. The bill came to around €60, which was very reasonable considering how full we were, so I'm giving it 5 stars!
02/03/2026: We use to go to this place with pleasure until yesterday 🫣 service was terrible, wrong organization, first the girl show us the table, than the manager came to tell us that’s not the table for us, he checked the computer and he showed us the same table ( the place was more than half empty) I forgot to mention we’re with a baby 🫣 No one came to take our order for more than 15 minutes 🫣 Food was great like usual, they have lovely kitchen with bad stuff in front 🫣 At the end we waited to pay again for a good bit 🫣

31/10/2025: We made a reservation as getting a dinner place in town can be difficult, and the fillet steak and lamb shank were both very good, as was the service we received from the time we walked into the restaurant. If you’re looking for quality meat dishes and a less busy atmosphere I can definitely recommend this restaurant.
21/10/2025: Went to Kerry for a few days called into Murphy Brownes and it was top class lovely food and staff
