Birthday dinner food was fabulous best goats cheese I've ever had we were a table of6 adults and 1 child no complaints from any of us except maybe we ate too much lovely bonus of having happy birthday piped on dessert plate and having it sung to me.will have no hesitation in returning staff were very friendly and efficient and didn't rush us we all had a great experience and will definitely return

6 adults plus 1 child went here last Sat 31 for a birthday dinner food was fab service amazing intend to return .no complaints absolutely loved it especially the happy birthday singing 🤣My goats cheese starter was the nicest goats cheese I've ever had .

A top quality meal in a very comfortable, relaxing setting. Service was excellent and what appeared to be simple dishes eg chicken stuffed with white pudding, turned out to be exceptional and very filling... No room for a pud! Would recommend as a nice treat.

I had dinner here for work with the team, using a set menu that was three courses for about 38 euro which was very reasonable. The food was well presented and used local ingredients wherever possible. There is an extensive wine and drinks list, although I was surprised there weren't more whiskey options as I'm sure tourists would be happy to taste local(ish) whiskeys. The location is very central so parking can be a challenge if you're arriving by car before 7pm.

Ate here last night, lovely time.we both ate 2 vegan courses.all courses were delicious.not too complicated and we were happy with portions. Only negative was they accidentally brought my partner bread and only realized after she had eaten half that the didn't give her gluten free one by mistake which we asked. (She is celiac)

The most amazing food in Cork. Not only is the food to die for the staff are friendly helpful and do not rush you which we felt to be important when enjoying good food. In particular our waitress Rajae who was extremely kind polite and who gave amazing recommendations throughout the night. Cannot wait to dine out again.

I was in Cork for the day and decided to try this place. I had goats cheese starter and sea bass as a main and for dessert I had chocolate brownie. To drink I just had water. The staff were excellent. The service was really quick. It’s easy to find. Would go again

I have recently had the pleasure of celebrating a family reunion in Jacobs. It is located in the city center. The meals are seasonal, healthy, balanced, and only made of local products. I recommend this place for meat lovers! However, they offer as well plenty of vegetarian options. The place is really big and with unique pieces of art hanging on the walls. The staff is very professional and mind every detail. I can’t wait to go back!

04/10/2024: Excellent meal in a lovely friendly atmosphere, my son booked on line a few days before we visited on a Thursday evening at 7.00 we were lucky to get a table. We will be back soon for a visit.
19/09/2024: This place was almost perfect. To start with, they have a great wine selection, with many different options for you to choose from. My husband and I both got the 10oz Sirloins, my steak was cooked a perfect med rare. However, my husband ordered his medium and it came out well done. They were super busy that night, so he powered through it and finished his meal. We were starving and didn't want to wait for another steak to come out. Other than that, the sides were all perfectly seasoned and the desserts were to die for. I definitely suggest getting the chocolate St. Emilion.

17/09/2024: Really everything was excellent, the waiter spoke French and was able to explain certain dishes which we did not understand in English. The pork was excellent as well as the chicken salad, maybe the chicken was a little dry but other than that it was great. It’s a nice surprise to have found this restaurant in Cork. EDIT: we went back a second time and it was once again excellent! We tried the coffee crème brûlée dessert and it was the best crème brûlée I have eaten in my entire life.
17/09/2024: A very beautiful and good restaurant well located in the center of Cork. The cuisine is excellent with refined dishes and top-notch service. We were surprised that several of the servers were French, but this is not surprising given the quality of the cuisine. We went there twice during our stay and will happily return.
