Jacobs on the Mall in Cork

This is a wonderful restaurant in downtown Cork that I visited on a local's recommendation. The unique interior, with its high ceilings, was immediately impressive upon entering. Both the shrimp appetizer and the steak entree were delicious.

We had our wedding reception for 120 people in Jacob’s on the Mall, and from our first meeting with Katie to walking out the door when the wedding day was finished, we experienced nothing but stellar service. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, the food was incredible and we had a truly unforgettable day. We wouldn’t change a thing. The staff were exceptional and all our guests have been raving about how great a day it was. Seamless from beginning to end. We can’t thank you enough!

My fav restaurant in cork. Their food is incredibly good, visually appealing and it shows that they have a great kitchen team. The room staff is also incredibly nice, always smiling and attentive to the room and tables. The restaurant itself is a little bubble of peace and why not, art. The price is fair and they could potentially charge more, with this said, not a single dish they offer is bland. Their portion sizes are good and I have never left the restaurant feeling I had room for something else, sometimes even opting out of their desserts. Great wine selection, cocktails and spirits. I'm personally find if their gin mocktail. Jacob in the Mall is a must in Cork and you will regret not dining here.

Visited last night and had a great time. Food is always impeccable and very comfortable place. Only negative is that staff can rush you a little. Other that that it’s a lovely restaurant.

Beautiful space, loads of light through many skylights. Excellent service, friendly and discreet. There were 3 of us dining. We opted for the early dinner 40 euro 3 courses. Good options for most diners, I had the curry potatoes, the ragu with rigatoni, and finished with the Eton mess. If we eat with our eyes, mine were very impressed. My 2 companions also enjoyed their meals and appetites sated. There are enough options on the full menu to please every diner. Highly recommend.

We had a very pleasant experience at Jacobs on the Mall. The place is perfect, very spacious and comfortable. We ordered the early Bird and it was such a great surprise – everything was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was really kind and attentive, which made the visit even better. Everything was great and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!❤️

Fantastic food in a surprisingly delightful setting. Don't let the entrance fool you -- this place is amazing. Very high quality food, great service, highly recommend.

Jacobs never fails to. We have been going here for many years and it’s always consistent , welcoming and excellent food .

Tuvimos una experiencia increíble anoche desde el momento en que llegamos. El servicio fue amable e impecable. La atención del personal hizo toda la diferencia, incluyendo la perfecta cocción de mi filete. Todos los cursos eran muy sabrosos. Fue una primera experiencia muy agradable y sin duda volveré de nuevo.
