This was a fantastic restaurant in an old Turkish baths really nicely done . The food options are really good I struggled to choose my starter there was so many great dishes. The food from start to finish was amazing also a good wine selection. Highly recommend it.

Excellent restaurant, unique ambiance in a former bathhouse in the heart of Cork. Extensive menu with meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes. Quite pricey, but the quality justifies it.

It's been too long to be reminded how outstanding this restaurant is. Fine dining without the BS. I try hard to not be the guy who photographs the food, but how could I not show off the attached creations. They are works of art. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ to the unseen (but hugely appreciated)kitchen staff. A nice friendly welcome by maitre d'. Extremely comfortable tables and a spectacular menu including a "proper" vegan menu. Staff are very nice, apart from one cold member - they've been there a while and is a tad serious, a bit intimidating. If they lightened up, everyone would feel better. Such a fantastic treat.

Such a beautiful room to enjoy excellent food and service. Fantastic young staff doing a really great job, well done to the management on keeping Jacobs up there with the best πŸ‘Œ highly recommend.

I had an exceptional evening in Jacobs on the mall! All three courses were fantastic! Excellent presentation of the dishes and just a wow for the taste. Will definitely come back and enjoy this experience again

We had our staff night out last Saturday and we could not be happier. Staff was so friendly and no ask was too big. Service with a smile. Food was extraordinary! There was 26 of us and to get everyone's food absolutely perfect, not an easy task. Waiters remembered everyone's orders and dietary requirements, not a single mishap. Very very impressive! Will definitely come back and just wanted to say thank you to every single one of you, you are some team! Merry Christmas!

Good European food. We came for dinner in first week of December and thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas menu here. There are options for vegans as well. The desserts were the best. My colleagues enjoyed the steak and duck in particular.

The Kingsley

17/04/2026: We had a wonderful stay at The Kingsley Hotel. Our experience was wonderful from check in to check out. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our room was fabulous, beds were comfortable and bathroom so clean and stocked with hygiene essentials. The TV has chromecasting so we could cast netflix to the TV and there were clear instructions on how to do so. We had room service which we could order through their online service and again clear instructions on how to do so. The food was delicious and the staff member who delivered our room service was so friendly. I especially like the little welcoming touches such as complimentary mocktails at the front desk and the welcoming display on the TV. The hotel also organised a taxi for us for the next morning which was great. It was our first time staying at The Kingsley Hotel and I can honestly say it was a most enjoyable experience. We will definitely stay there again and I would recommend to others.
20/03/2026: My daughter Ava played music there with her friend a number of times. She is a very professional accomplished musician. She got great feedback from the customers who enjoyed the musc. The Kingsley used her and never laid her or her friend for the music performance 's. This behaviour cannot and should not be tolerated by this establishment. This is iny opinion is exploitation. These girls are now dissalussioned. This behaviour is totally unacceptable. John Hallinan Ava's Dad.

The Elm Tree

25/02/2026: Been away for a few months. Popped into the elm tree for Sunday lunch. Just as good as all ways, still good value, food still great except the roast potatoes, just too crispy.
18/02/2026: You cannot fault the food but we were in on a busy night and it was over and hour and 20 for dinner to come out. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I think it's too many covers for the size of the kitchen. Saying that the food is worth a wait just not that long. Everyone really enjoyed their food.
