I ate here recently and had delicous shredded chicken with sweet and sour sauce which was fantastic. One of the best sweet and sour sauces I've had. The chips I was served were cold unfortunately but were nice. Egg friend rice was tasty. Staff were really nice and friendly.

A pleasant moment, all in softness and finesse! I really enjoyed the Thai beef pasta. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy good Asian food.

Very pleasant place, well above the advertised price! We ate magnificently. As French people, we know how to appreciate good food, and here, it is excellent. The service is attentive and elegant, and the restaurant is both charming and well-kept.

Called in for early dinner - had roti canai starters. It was so delicious, the kids wanted more. Beef rendang is amazing, full of flavour and very authentic. Sweet & sour chicken was delicious. Stopped in again the next day as the kids wanted spice bags - truly the tastiest spice bags we've ever had. Highly recommended

14/08/2025: Great all round, our man Ivan knows his stuff. Chatty & intersting but not intrusive lovely suggestions on wine. We will be back. Get that restaurant back open with the smoker 😁 Maith thĂș x
12/08/2025: Thoroughly looking forward to stopping here again to source some delicious wine. A useful spot in Ireland for a nice bottle of your choosing. Fingers crossed we see the restaurant again soon but for now, a charming wine shop with some snacks. Thank you

Griffin's Bar

09/02/2026: On my first ever visit to Clifden which took place last week, we found ourselves popping into Griffin's bar for some lunch. I had the best fish pie I've had since I don't know when. Marion enjoyed a nice steak sandwich. Both David & John made us feel very welcome. Then a local 82year old mad entertained us with a quick dancing demo. Apparently he also recites poetry and you might even get a song out of him! It was a memorable experience and made all the better when David ran us up to see the Sky Road (if you get the chance to see it you'll understand why it's called the sky road.) I can't wait to visit Clifden and Griffin's bar again. Couldn't recommend it enough, thanks David & John.
