Juniors Bar Carlingford in Carlingford

I thought that I had rated this dog friendly pub/restaurant already. Its definitely a 10 out of 10 based on the warm welcome our Zoe got plus of course the great food at very reasonable pricing. Nice cosy bar/restaurant which looked as if it had been tastefully refurbished recently. Service was great including the water bowl that they brought for Zoe. I think that there may be several bars and eating areas within however we didnt check them out. This is a short walk out and up from the centre of town and is nearby to the Abbey ruins. Dont judge it by its plain frontage but rather by the warm and friendly greeting you will get inside. If we are back in the area we will definitely call in for a pint and a meal, Zoe included.

Lovely food, staff very accommodating to a group of cyclists. Service just a bit slow, probably because they weren't expecting a big group. Chowder & bread very tasty.

Soda Bread Breakfast is the best I've had 😋

People tend to judge “bad experiences” too harshly. We found the service from our Polish/Irish waitress absolutely fantastic. Thank you ma’am for your hospitality & service. The food was great great. We had the Chicken, Jacket Potato & Beef Burger. Burger was fat, juicy & delicious (according to my son). My Dad loved the chicken, it too was tender & moist. Jacket Potato was a “healthy choice” although the bacon & cheese changed that 😂, also very enjoyable (try it with garlic mayo). Oysters, garlic bread & drinks topped off a great lunch.

We had a group of 15 at short notice on Thurs night looking for food in Carlingford - no problem though to Juniors ... food first class in a lovely place. The Lamb was so tender ... it was absolutely delicious! Well done Juniors and many thanks again.

AMAZING FOOD! I recommend the sea bass. The service is also very friendly and timely. They are open late which makes it a fun environment too

The food was really good. They have many options and catered for our large groups needs.I would recommend a visit and hope to go again. Staff were also lovely and efficient. There is a good variety of dishes, fish, lamb, beef, chicken etc
