Great local’s pub in Carlingford. Highly recommend

I thought that I had rated this dog friendly pub/restaurant already. Its definitely a 10 out of 10 based on the warm welcome our Zoe got plus of course the great food at very reasonable pricing. Nice cosy bar/restaurant which looked as if it had been tastefully refurbished recently. Service was great including the water bowl that they brought for Zoe. I think that there may be several bars and eating areas within however we didnt check them out. This is a short walk out and up from the centre of town and is nearby to the Abbey ruins. Dont judge it by its plain frontage but rather by the warm and friendly greeting you will get inside. If we are back in the area we will definitely call in for a pint and a meal, Zoe included.

Lovely food, staff very accommodating to a group of cyclists. Service just a bit slow, probably because they weren't expecting a big group. Chowder & bread very tasty.

Soda Bread Breakfast is the best I've had 😋
