A lovely restaurant with really great waitstaff! My friend said the bangers and mash was so good she could have it 3x over - highly recommended! The small steak was nice, a little sinew-y at first but the peppercorn sauce was delicious. Great portion sizes!

The Creel

31/03/2026: The Creel in Westport what a spot! I had the katsu curry and it was excellent, perfectly crisp with a light, flavourful sauce that really brought it together. Service was genuinely warm and easygoing, you feel looked after without it ever being over the top. Sitting there with the view out the window just made the whole thing even better. I’ll definitely be back.

10/03/2026: Had a great meal at Sage. Every course was delicious as well as the wine. The bread, palate cleansers and sweet treats at the end were lovely touches.
