JW's Brasserie in Westport

I eat here occasionally and I am always satisfied with the food, tonight I ordered the starter Kelly's black pudding with goats cheese,and a portion of fries,it has changed completely just 2 balls of pudding no evidence of goats cheese and no slice of apple,I was very disappointed and the waiter asked if I wanted to return it so i ordered the fish cake which was just ok not much flavour The staff were lovely and the room was very comfortable, pity about the food

We liked this place. The food wasn't incredible but the service and atmosphere definitely made up for it. After a terrible service experience earlier in the day, it was refreshing to experience such attentive service.

Slightly upscale pub experience. Service was great. Had the fish and chips which was generous portions and cooked well.
