Kate Kearney's Cottage in

It was okay. We were looking forward to this stop with plans to hike up toward the Gap of Dunloe. Ultimately, we could have been okay skipping this stop. The food was okay, the space was large, but nothing felt historic. Also, as for the hike up -- it was covered in horse poop and there were a lot of cars for around lunch time on a weekday.

Food was great and the entertainment was awesome. The band in got the whole crowd singing and involved even dancing the donkey dance.

Drinks are served at the bar. Nice after a long, wet morning's walk. Tea room and restaurant

Great location just at thr end of a 7mile walk from Lord Brandon's Cottage to the Gap of Dunloe. Helpful staff, great selection of meals, toilets and other amenities. The staff are knowledgeable about the area and very helpful.
