Kilford Arms Hotel Kilkenny in Kilkenny

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here for a couple days. It’s a nice hotel with decent amenities. Before you book there are some concerns you should know. We came here during the summer and there is no air conditioning what so ever in our room. I understand this might be normal for some hotels to have no AC in Europe, but it’s hot and uncomfortable.

Great experience, professionalism, courtesy, cleanliness, good food at the right price.

The hotel is a maze. Our room was at the end of multiple corridors and a couple flights of stairs. But at least we got an early check-in. It was worth the deal. Location is great.

We only went to the pub, but it was a great experience. The best live music and a fantastic atmosphere.

Nice hotel in the city in kilkenny. Its bigger from the inside than it looks from the outside. Restaurant is also available. Service are very nice. Free carpark as well.. I could even leave my car till I was finish with work, what is a plus. Room are very clean and the matress are very good. Everything u need is there.

Reception lovely, bar staff too. Had dinner in main bar on 1st evening which was beautiful. Paid B&B for what was on breakfast menu. Walked in 30mins after breakfast started, lifted a menu and went to sit down. Only to be asked did I want off the deli ie- hot plate. I said no I will use menu. Was told by the young man at front of house that it's the hot plate unless I want Eggs Benedict. Breakfast was Luke warm and best and egg rubbery. They definitely mis-sell the B&B offer. Why have a menu that staff don't you order off. Strange
