Kirbys of Cross Street in Galway

Ordered the seafood platter. Was really nice :)

One of those spontaneous choices that turned out to be absolutely delightful. We had no booking and the place was buzzing, but luckily, we got a table for three. The triple trio seafood was full of flavour, and the lemon butter sauce added just the right touch. The lamb steak was beautifully done—so juicy and tender. The vegetables were fresh and full of taste, not just on the plate for show. Our son’s cod and chips were golden and crisp, and he enjoyed every bite. We really loved the whole experience. Next time we are in Galway, this will definitely be our go-to spot for dinner.

Had fabulous meal excellent menu choice and all our group was impressed, paired with excellent service - will be back. No additional costs for sides and great wine list.

Great place, I had the fish platter of the day (seafood trio) and it was excellent!! The cheese and charcuterie platter is large and very good. We loved our evening. The drinks are good. Almost no tables available for walk-ins, so reserved

Excellent meal here in Galway! The oysters, the Gilligan's Ribeye Burger were so good! Cocktails were great as well.

Great oysters, good salmon on a very creamy risotto, and a truly perfectly cooked (nicely pink inside), super-tender roast lamb. Plus, very attentive and friendly service. I can highly recommend this restaurant. There's also a separate bar area, but we didn't go there.

We chose Kirby's because of its lovely ambiance, but were then unfortunately escorted from the slightly more upscale restaurant to the bar/pub. It was a real shame. It was very loud and fast-paced, which was evident from the staff. The food was okay. The Caesar salad had a mayo dressing. Overall, we wouldn't go there again.

Good food the live music was a bit brash but good.

Teníamos una reserva de grupo para 94 personas y habíamos acordado tener un menú fijo para todos. El personal era muy amable y a pesar de la gran cantidad en el grupo la comida fue servida muy eficientemente. Los comentarios de todos los que viajaron han sido muy positivos.

Es un restaurante muy agradable y a mí y a mi familia nos gusta mucho. Kirby es un gran restaurante de cinco estrellas bien hecho
