What a place... possibly the best beef stew I've had in Ireland. Exquisite. The place is friendly, well-decorated, and very pleasant. The food was outstanding. Everything was perfect. My daughter loved the fried chicken with potatoes. The mussels in cream sauce were incredible. I'll never forget them. Order them and lick your fingers clean! The rich stew has a flavor that leaves a lasting impression. The cuisine at this place is simply phenomenal. If you have any doubts, go in.

Back at Kitty Ó Sé’s Bar & Restaurant for the first time in over 25 years since my rugby days in Kinsale. The mussels and Guinness were every bit as good as I remembered. Safe to say it didn’t disappoint, and my Aussie partner loved it so much she reckons she could move to Kinsale

Its not an old Irish pub, but tge beef stew was fantastic, more of a modern pub grub place but worth a visit for the stew

29/06/2026: Review for the cafe: best meal I’ve had in Ireland. Salmon on brown bread with horseradish cream cheese. Absolutely 5 stars! Service was quick to start and slowed a bit. Beautiful atmosphere.
28/06/2026: I have googled spot for brunch ..and well..it didn't disappoint..definitely was worth all those 4.5 * Really recommend, brilliant food... beautiful spot. And very happy, helpful staff. We will definitely be returning back

15/09/2026: We just had the most delicious gourmet experience. Every dish was superb, and the flow and pacing was perfection. The wine list paired beautifully with the dishes. The chef makes it easy by limiting your choices. Everything was as fresh can be. Honestly, I’m pretty sure there were no bad options. The scallops, soba noodles with duck, boulabaise and lamb cutlets were all truly exceptional. Highly recommend! But the place needs a visual makeover. The atmosphere is definitely on the plate.
