What a place... possibly the best beef stew I've had in Ireland. Exquisite. The place is friendly, well-decorated, and very pleasant. The food was outstanding. Everything was perfect. My daughter loved the fried chicken with potatoes. The mussels in cream sauce were incredible. I'll never forget them. Order them and lick your fingers clean! The rich stew has a flavor that leaves a lasting impression. The cuisine at this place is simply phenomenal. If you have any doubts, go in.

Back at Kitty Ó Sé’s Bar & Restaurant for the first time in over 25 years since my rugby days in Kinsale. The mussels and Guinness were every bit as good as I remembered. Safe to say it didn’t disappoint, and my Aussie partner loved it so much she reckons she could move to Kinsale

Lemon Leaf Cafe Bar & Townhouse

05/05/2026: Just ate food in the cafe, we didn't stay. The food is lovely! It's a very cute little spot, perfect for brunch. The staff are very friendly and the food is reasonably priced.
26/04/2026: Delicious full Irish breakfast, pretty good flat white, great brown bread. Wonderful service and ambience. Highly recommend.

26/08/2026: This was our first visit to Max’s but it won’t be our last. We went to Max’s for a birthday dinner and it was genuinely one of our best restaurant experiences in recent memory. The service was brilliant. From calmly and discreetly, asking a very loud group of customers to tone it down to helping us pick between equally delicious-sounding dishes. And just generally being very attentive while not overbearing throughout the whole meal. The food, of course, was delicious. Fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation and amazing flavours. You could feel the care they put into creating their dishes and preparing the food. Oh, and no matter how full you think you are, don’t skip dessert!
20/08/2026: Came here earlier in the week for my dad’s 60th birthday. Food was outstanding and the service from the staff was excellent. Would recommend to anyone visiting Kinsale to have a meal here!
