My wife and I recently celebrated the day 2 of our wedding here. The service from the staff and management was incredible. They made the day for us. The food was fabulous also. We dined here recently also before confirming the booking and the meal was fantastic that day also. I’d recommend Kyteler’s to anyone.

Whiskey tasting was excellent. Dinner, great value and delicious. Music was traditional. Overall, it was a great Irish authentic experience.

Great spot for live music! We enjoyed the history of the place (witch stories). We enjoyed the live music, and our beers. I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting Kilkenny.

Very average menu from what I expected. The food was good, but not overwhelming. The soup however, was excellent. The personnel and service were very kind and respectful. The meals turned out fast from the kitchen. I’m gonna go out and say you go here for the atmosphere, which is unique in this 12 or 13 century building.

29/10/2024: It was great. We warned that it could be 15 minute wait to be seated as we wanted food, which we were happy to do. A table was found with in 2 minutes and cleared for our use. I had the cottage pie with was excellent.
28/10/2024: Nice pub with plenty of seating. We didn't realize it was seated yourself so we wasted time looking for staff. I was happy to see a cocktail menu since so many places in Ireland seem to favor Guinness and wine. The bogeyman cocktail was good & my husband enjoyed his old fashion. The calamari was good. The place got crowded early on a Saturday evening but service was good.

09/08/2024: Great pub. We were out the back in a covered in beer garden. Pints of Guinness were lovely and cold.
