Kyteler’s Inn in Kilkenny

Stopped in here for a bite to eat and a beer, fantastic place, fabulous atmosphere and a great range of beers on tap both local and national. You also won't be stuck for a shot of Irish whiskey or two, many many different flavours and types from all over the fair isle or Éire. Food was good I had a nice burger with fries and the good lady had a roast beef roll with fries that was only on the lunchtime menu, so thumbs up for that as JRE would say both came with a little salad(way way too much cucumber in mine) however staff could have been a bit more knowledgeable about the pub and it's history, when my good lady enquired about the history she got a rather blank"she's dead now" not after a history lesson but some kind of tale about the pub would have been nice. I'll definitely go there again, great place.

The best fish and chips I've ever eaten.

I just loved this place. We went there during an off time on a Monday afternoon. But it still felt lively. I love how they used the history to make the whole pub feel cute. We also loved their own brew. Will definitely come back to try the food. Great experience!!

Great night Thomas Jackman played folklore and ballads well worth a visit

Nice place to knock the chill off and eat. Staff were friendly and efficient Love the lore of Ann. Beautiful woodwork and decor. Food was good and fast to table. Whiskey selection was nice!

Down from Dublin for the night and had the best time there. Big shout out to Nunya, the man who looked after us for the whole night so well. He really went above and beyond for us

Service was great! We didn’t wait long for our food! Burger was delicious 10/10 and fish and chips was 6-7/10. They are clild friendly and they very accommodating. They have a huge space for dinning and drinking and check their website on the days for music night. It has an enchanting story behind the place and I’ll let you discover it when you visit here 😉 I’ll recommend this place when you visit Kilkenny!

Great spot for live music! We enjoyed the history of the place (witch stories). We enjoyed the live music, and our beers. I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting Kilkenny.

This historic restaurant is typically a pub in front, with music late at night. The restaurant portion is small but very quaint. Service is quick and good with plenty of servers. The Irish lamb stew was outstanding, though two types of potatoes in it and chips along side was a bit surprising. Roast beef was tender and delicious. Not a restaurant to linger in as orders come quickly but also not rushed at all. Very happy with this.
