Cosy Italian with lovely friendly staff the food was amazing delicious fresh pasta and tasty dessert paired with a nice wine and beer list

We visit Westport once a year just for an excuse to eat here. Amazing food, lovely atmosphere and wonderful staff. 5 stars are not enough!

Fatastic experience. We were a group of 3 adults and 4 kids struggling to find a place to eat in Westport on a busy Saturday eveneing when we had the good fortune to stumble upon La Bella Vita who were able to seat us outside on what was a pleasant enough evening. The staff were amazing - they took such good care of us and were exceptional with the kids. Even though they didn't have a kids menu, they found something each of the kids liked, and our food was top class. Inside the restaruant seemed really cosy and intimate as well. Fantastic food, and super, super staff. Will be back when we visit Westport again.

We just happened to stumble upon this restaurant and were lucky enough to be given a table. The food and wine was ten out of ten and the service was excellent. I’m a vegetarian and I had plenty of options and honestly have to recommend the filled truffle pasta, which is definitely one of the finest dishes I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy, it was so good I never wanted it to end and it will definitely live long in the memory. My wife’s main was a sausage pasta dish which was definitely to the same standard, but I could mention the starters and deserts as well because everything was first class. We also loved the ambience of the restaurant, quiet soft music playing giving a perfect atmosphere and attentive but not overbearing service. This is and will remain a highlight of our road trip around Ireland.

I can’t rave enough about all aspects of this place. My party was a group of four. Every single dish we ordered was incredible. Ezio, the owner/server, was a true delight - so welcoming and compassionate. The setting was cozy and classy. Don’t miss this gem of a restaurant if you have the chance to experience it!

10 out of 10.. The shirmp linguine is delicious!! Fresh and light 👌

The food here is amazing. The gnocchi with Gorgonzola spinach and walnuts was fabulous. I could come every day and have the same thing but then I would miss out on the other fantastic main courses like the linguine with meatballs which I have on good authority were every but as delicious. The only caveat is that they only do Chardonnay by the glass but the food was so good I didn’t even bother that I didn’t have wine.
