La Bella Vita in Westport

Excellent, friendly service from start to finish. The appetizer and both main courses were beautifully presented, simply decorated. The plates were piping hot, and the food was excellent! A highly recommended spot.

Very nice restaurant with very fresh pasta, I would recommend not having food at least 5 hours before to make sure it doesn't feel heavy. My favourite was the cheese truffle ravioli. I recommend making a reservation before.

Authentic Italian food. Beautiful food, fried calamari was gluten free as was the pasta available for coeliac. Highly recommend

I was in Westport with 4 friends celebrating my birthday and wanted a meal in a nice restaurant. I had no idea about La Bella Vita beforehand but it looked good from the outside and, although it lacked the usual Italian staples - bolognese, lasagna etc - the menu looked interesting. It totally surpassed all expectations. Everything tasted very fresh, was cooked to perfection and, for the quality, the bill was very reasonable. I thoroughly recommend La Bella Vita.

We had a great dinner. The N'duja spread toasts are a flavor bomb and the perfect starter. Make sure to have a Mescan beer with them, perfect match! We also had the Calamari, I now have a whole new benchmark for Calamari! These we're sooooo good, make sure to order loads! For mains we had the "little moons" a great mushroom filled pasta with freshly grated Parmesan, and also the Raviolis with sea bass. The chef really blew our minds with the saffron - sun dried tomato combo on the raviolis - mind blowing! Wonderfull how the sea bass still came through and balanced out the palet. Would come back to Ireland just for this dish! Desserts were as expected after the excellent mains: Tiramisu spot on, and the Affogato luxurious and creamy. The staff was stellar and made sure we had a marvelous evening, we were so very touched by their welcoming and personal approach and their enthousiasm for the menu. A perfect score, we've had Michelin star dinners lacking the passion we felt this evening!

Just by luck we found this wonderful restaurant, amazing food, wonderful dramatic staff, great atmosphere, will be back again.

If I could give it 10 stars I would, from the delicious food, cozy atmosphere to the excellent service we had a wonderful evening.

This place is incredible! The food was exquisite, comforting and made with such care. They made our three year old daughter feel so special with her own pasta dish and she was able to taste two different juices before choosing which one she wanted. A great experience for us all and I'd absolutely reccommend for anyone that enjoys proper Italian food!
