Land to Sea in An daingean

My husband and I must have gone to Land to Sea in Dingle at a very good time. We really enjoyed our meal and we did the tasting menu. Keep in mind that this was previously a Michelin star restaurant so the presentation is an important element and a tasting menu is meant to allow the diner to enjoy multiple dishes without feeling bloated. Portion size is not as important as taste and appearance which were fantastic during our meal. The waitstaff was a bit on the short side so we enjoyed a leisurely meal with reasonable pacing. Really fantastic meal so I feel bad if the kitchen and front of house were not up to par for other diners. I definitely recommend dining here if you want a special meal.

We had the 6 course tasting menu, which was delicious. I asked for one substitution and they were happy to offer several options. Lovely atmosphere and friendly service.

We were excited to check this out based on the reviews, but found everything to be rather mediocre.

Really great place, went there for my birthday and brilliant food… softest juiciest pork I’ve eaten for a long time! The croquettes were really creamy and the monkfish starter was delicious. Hake was really nicely cooked too. Nice flavour combinations on all dishes. The deserts were lovely as well! There were somethings I had never seen before but they tasted great! The staff were lovely. My dad really liked the bread they served before the starters and had been looking for a recipe for similar bread for ages and he asked them and the chef came out and gave him the recipe! Very nice of him. Overall, really good food!

Had a wonderful meal there 3 days ago .Food & service excellent .presentation& flavour of food superb. Would highly recommend . Room a little draughty when front door opened .Staff so helpful & friendly .

It says reservations were required but we walked up right when they opened and they were able to seat it. I highly recommend trying this place even if you don’t have a reservation (although try to get one first for their sake). Their crab bisque was a tomato base but still creamy and I had their oysters as my main entree (it was on the menu as a starter but I wanted to get them) and they were amazing! My husband got the lamb and it was beautifully presented, marinated, and happily consumed!

It’s ridiculous that this place isn’t rated 4.99 on Google. So good, yet we were able to walk in on a Friday night. Probably the best full course meal I’ve ever had.

Un cadre chaleureux avec une cuisine haut de gamme et goûteuse à souhait !! Le service est à la hauteur de ce que vous mangerez .. des assiettes aussi belle qu'excellente ! Bref si vous passez dans cette belle région, cette adresse est à consommer sans modération !! Sans aucune hésitation, une des meilleures tables dans laquelle j'ai eu le plaisir de manger dans ma vie...
