Self serve at the bar. Environment was good. Very clean and great scenery.

Amazing bar with great food and stellar bands! Highly recommend! Must go when visiting Killarney Castle.

What a lovely find 😍 Lovely welcoming staff ,lovely roaring fire,keep you cosy and toasty in this weather. We had the home made soup and Guinness bread two days in a row as it was that delicious followed with a portion of home madecut chips to share between two, kept us full and satisfied for the whole day. Lots of nice food on their menu to choose from. Didn't want to leave,had a lovely bottle of vino as we chilled and chatted, atmosphere was so welcoming don't miss this gem of a spot if your in Kilkenny.

Went in last Saturday for food. Warm welcome and seats at a table in front of the fire provided. However they did it, we did not roast, so it was quite lovely. We ordered our food and drink, service was good. The food was 50/50. There were 4 at our table...the fish and chips was lovely, the seafood chowder hit the spot. The burger was ground chuck and brisket with a mustard dressing. The person who ordered it would eat anything and he wouldn't finish it. I found the texture dense and unpalatable when I tasted. I myself had the hake. The fish itself was lovely, though the grapes were an odd addition. The roasted baby potatoes were soggy from the liquid in the bowl, unfortunately a hair was wrapped around one of the pieces of broccoli and completely turned me off finishing the dish. I was offered somewhere and declined. New Zealand Sauvignon blanc was good. I was given a limoncello shot as an apology. Felt a bit rushed out shortly after food was finished.

We ordered the battered catch of the day and cottage pie. Everything was delicious!

Cocktails were lovely but fairly pricey. €15 a pop
