Great place to have a cocktail in the evening 😆

We ordered the battered catch of the day and cottage pie. Everything was delicious!

Cocktails were lovely but fairly pricey. €15 a pop

From past experiences I would have given 5 stars. From our experience last night, 1 star, so met in the middle with 3 stars. The food here is very good. We always come here when we visit Kilkenny a few times a year. Love the food, music and vibes. But yesterday we came here with friends visiting from New York. We have been drinking Hugo Spritz at our hotel and when out for a meal. We ordered 4 and they didn't taste like Hugo Spritz at all. The cocktail girl kindly made us fresh ones. Unfortunately they tasted much the same. I returned to the bar and we decided just to get different drinks entirely. The girl behind the bar with long dark hair was quite rude the second time I approached. I've never had to return drinks before.. she actually avoided us totally. The lady working in the cocktail bar came over, I explained what was wrong and she offered to sweeten them up but we weren't trying again. She wasnt happy at all and made this quite clear. The manager in the bar had to have known the situation as it was obvious everyone was discussing it, yet he avoided coming over. One of the male bartenders kindly sorted. Even a couple sitting at the bar commented on the situation (the attitude behind the bar). We left a few minutes later. I'm sure we will be back again as we usually really enjoy our nights here but certainly won't be ordering cocktails again!!

One of the best pubs in Kilkenny, without a doubt. I’m visiting the city and wanted to experience the best pubs around, and this place truly stands out. The atmosphere is great, but what really makes it special is the service. I was genuinely amazed by how smoothly and professionally everything is handled at the bar. A special shout-out to Adam, he is absolutely fantastic at what he doe, he truly elevates the entire experience. People like him are what make a place world-class. Cheers to Adam and the wonderful way he serves customers. Kudos to him! Attaching some of his skills. Love to visit this place again, just because of the service.

Really good food and drinks in a cool atmosphere. Took a long time to get service or have anyone take our orders but otherwise very good!

Fantastic pub! Service & atmosphere was 10/10. Highly recommend the beef brisket sandwich!!

Interesting place. We chatted with an Italian waitress who recommended some typical dishes and told us about Kilkenny's Italian community. The atmosphere is unique, the concept is one-of-a-kind, and it's worth a visit. I wasn't thrilled with the sandwich I ate, but the beer was good, and I was satisfied. Stop by!

A great place to enjoy a good atmosphere and live music. You can also have dinner or snacks there. We ordered Irish coffees for €9.
