Left Bank in Kilkenny

Lovely interior. Nice pint, good chowder, and very friendly, well trained and efficient staff. A good spot for lunch.

It was our first visit to the Left Bank and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Great atmosphere.

Visited on a really busy Saturday afternoon. Classy bar, decent food and huge array of cocktails and drinks.

Fantastic building and decor. Good food in both the bar and Rive Gauche restaurant which is in the same building.

Went for lunch was shown seats but got no menu asked twice staff passing then third time we asked eventually got it.. Just got toasted panini was tasty. When finished asked staff passing for bill agin waited 10min he never gave to us asked another girl same thing..and again just went to bar was asked what table number but was no number on the table had to point out on floor plan.. very unorganised. Astomphere was comfortable .

Ok it was a Tuesday night in September but this place had no atmosphere. We ate and visited bars with live music. Very limited menu, good friendly service. The food was quite disappointing, bottom end of pub grub.

Best meal I’ve had in a month of traveling through Europe. I had the hake with potatoes, olives, sun dried tomatoes. Absolutely gourmet! Atmosphere was wonderful as well. Glad we found this place.
