Left Bank in Kilkenny

It was great. We warned that it could be 15 minute wait to be seated as we wanted food, which we were happy to do. A table was found with in 2 minutes and cleared for our use. I had the cottage pie with was excellent.

Nice pub with plenty of seating. We didn't realize it was seated yourself so we wasted time looking for staff. I was happy to see a cocktail menu since so many places in Ireland seem to favor Guinness and wine. The bogeyman cocktail was good & my husband enjoyed his old fashion. The calamari was good. The place got crowded early on a Saturday evening but service was good.

Incredibly beautiful location and without exception everyone was very friendly. Were there twice. Fish & chips were excellent and great choice of drinks. We are already planning our next visit.

Amazing pub in the center pf the city, building is huge, well decorated and makes you feel well ! We ordered fish and chips and it was a very good one!

Great place to eat. Very reasonable prices. Had the Butternut squash soup, it was good, but a little too spicy for me and it was served with delicious brown bread.

The place is nice and the atmosphere is good but unfortunately the food wasn't great and I'm sorry to say that but I probably won't be back again to get something to eat here.

Best meal I’ve had in a month of traveling through Europe. I had the hake with potatoes, olives, sun dried tomatoes. Absolutely gourmet! Atmosphere was wonderful as well. Glad we found this place.

Ok it was a Tuesday night in September but this place had no atmosphere. We ate and visited bars with live music. Very limited menu, good friendly service. The food was quite disappointing, bottom end of pub grub.
