Left Bank in Kilkenny

We had a great dinner at the Left Bank. The food was fresh, delicious and we enjoyed a refreshing variety of options. Our family had the Soup, Savoy Cabbage, Autumn Feta Salad, Stuffed Sweet Potato, and Slow Cooked pork cheek. We came here based on vegetarian menu options we had seen on line. While they had recently changed their menu, we were still pleased with all the options. The Left Bank is a beautiful place and the staff was attentive and personable. We traveled a great deal on our trip to Ireland and this place was by far the best one we dined in.

A very nice place right under Kilkenny Castle. Fast and competent service, nice music, and a very large and well-maintained space. Located in a former bank building, it's certainly very quaint. It's often very busy, so it's not easy to find a seat. The bathrooms are very large, but on the upper floors. I had the half chicken with a side dish, a very good dish that I absolutely recommend.

Great food, amazing beer and some of the best live music in Kilkenny!

A delightful discovery. One of the most beautiful pubs I've ever seen, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail. The food is also worthy of the place.

We stopped by to see if we could get a table, sat down at the bar and decided it was the best place to be. What a wonderful place! I had the best seafood chowder that I had in all of Ireland and my husband loved the hake. The servers were so friendly and the live music was a wonderful back drop. One of our favorite places that we went to in Ireland.

Lunch at this restaurant was lovely. The Victorian looking prior bank is so gorgeous inside. It’s definitely a place to at least go in for a drink.
