Spectacular pub, the biggest I've ever seen.

Lovely food and ambience overall. We got a table immediately and the food was good. The service was pretty quick too, being a bank holiday weekend. The pub is quite big and spacious and right at the centre of the city. The vibe was nice and staff were lovely.

We had a great dinner at the Left Bank. The food was fresh, delicious and we enjoyed a refreshing variety of options. Our family had the Soup, Savoy Cabbage, Autumn Feta Salad, Stuffed Sweet Potato, and Slow Cooked pork cheek. We came here based on vegetarian menu options we had seen on line. While they had recently changed their menu, we were still pleased with all the options. The Left Bank is a beautiful place and the staff was attentive and personable. We traveled a great deal on our trip to Ireland and this place was by far the best one we dined in.

A very nice place right under Kilkenny Castle. Fast and competent service, nice music, and a very large and well-maintained space. Located in a former bank building, it's certainly very quaint. It's often very busy, so it's not easy to find a seat. The bathrooms are very large, but on the upper floors. I had the half chicken with a side dish, a very good dish that I absolutely recommend.

We were walking by and drawn in by the really great live music. The seating was very comfortable. Service from the bar. Friendly staff. Good pints. No food after 930 pm. Music was finished by 11 pm, so go early.
