Left Bank in Kilkenny

Me and my husband went in to see what’s this restaurant/ bar looks like. I only ordered soup and it’s a great chowder soup coz we just ate brunch. Bar man is very friendly and nice. The place gets busy during 12-3pm. Can bring child during daytime. Space at the back was big to watch some sports. I wish we were able to try some of the food but we just ate. Maybe next time!

Soft music, low lighting, a smithwicks beer with Caprese Open faced sandwich. Vine ripened tomatoes, mozzarella, wild garlic, Basil pesto, beetroot hummus with aged balsamic glaze.

Not to be missed, an old bank transformed into a pub, an immense beauty. It is worth taking a look around and getting lost in its rooms, video attached.

Good atmosphere, excellent music.

We had delicious dinner and drinks here on Monday 30th December, followed by many good drinks and craic in the bar next door afterwards.

If you're seeking a delightful cocktail experience in Kilkenny, this charming location is definitely worth a visit. The whiskey sours here are exceptional, perfectly balanced with a rich, smooth flavor that will tantalize your taste buds.

Just had a cracking fish and chips with a pint of Kilkenny to wash it down. Friendly service old pub vibes.

I enjoyed in good food,authentic interier and of course beer.

Best meal I’ve had in a month of traveling through Europe. I had the hake with potatoes, olives, sun dried tomatoes. Absolutely gourmet! Atmosphere was wonderful as well. Glad we found this place.

Ok it was a Tuesday night in September but this place had no atmosphere. We ate and visited bars with live music. Very limited menu, good friendly service. The food was quite disappointing, bottom end of pub grub.
