Lydon's Lodge in Conga

We couldn’t have chosen a better place than Lydon’s Restaurant to host and cater for the second day of our wedding celebrations. From the moment we met with Olga to book we knew we were in great hands. She guided us through everything, food, music and suggested using the wedding cake as dessert. The food was absolutely incredible and lots of it. Exactingly what’s needed for a day two. Our guests were so impressed. Many guests stayed in the hotel. The service was impeccable, with the staff ensuring that everyone felt cared for and attended to. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, creating the perfect setting for us to unwind with our family and friends after the excitement of our wedding day. Lydon’s Restaurant truly went above and beyond to make our day special. Their attention to detail and dedication to creating a memorable experience was evident in every aspect. We’re so grateful for their role in making our wedding weekend unforgettable. Highly recommended!

I attended a family birthday party in Lydons, Cong and I can't praise it enough. The food was fantastic and excellent service (group of eighty people). Its a small family run hotel and I highly recommend it.

I had the pleasure of dining at a Lydons that has quickly become my new favorite spot for seafood. The mussels were simply divine. Perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, they were a true highlight of the meal. I was so impressed that we decided to return the very next day to try something different. The seafood pasta was a revelation. Every bite was a symphony of flavors. To round out our meal, we also tried the classic sandwich, which was equally delicious. The burger was delicious and the fillings were generous and flavorful. If you're a seafood lover, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

The food at the restaurant was delicious. We had dinner and breakfast. The music was really fantastic. The negatives are of course parking, Cong is just not great for any off street parking so it's not really convenient to taking your bags from the vehicle. The room was spacious and comfortable but the pillows were very flat and hard. Time to change those out. The staff was very efficient and helpful.

Had the steak which was cooked well and reasonably priced. Service was friendly. Only feedback I'd give is to not be polishing cutlery where people are eating, especially when using a stainless steel wine cooler - it's quite loud and annoying.

We LOVED staying at Lydons Lodge!!! The rooms were huge and clean and I loved the feel of the building itself. The staff was amazing. Definitely will be back!

Tuvimos dos buenas comidas el año pasado cuando visitamos Cong y decidimos reservar una mesa para nuestro aniversario de boda en un sábado que habíamos notificado a Lydon's con antelación. Cuando llegamos estaba muy ocupado y nos pusieron en una mesa al lado de un y muy cerca de la esquina del bar. A lo largo de la comida, mi esposa en particular tuvo la parte trasera de algunas personas que compraban bebidas y charlaban con uno y otro virtualmente en su cara, lo que la incomodó. No se movieron a pesar de que debía ser obvio para ellos. Estropeó la ocasión aunque la comida era buena, pero pensamos que las pintas de guinness no eran tan agradables como en los establecimientos de toher. Los cócteles estaban bien. En general, una noche mixta, por lo tanto, 4 sobre 5 marcando para esta revisión. Mención positiva especial para la camarera que era encantador, y amable. Tal vez tuvimos la mala suerte de que era una noche ajetreada combinada con un posible gran evento familiar en otras partes del restaurante. De todos los lugares en los que comimos durante nuestra estancia de 10 días en Irlanda Occidental sentimos que Lydon's era en general una ligera desaprobación, lo que es una pena dadas las calificaciones de 5 / 5 para las dos experiencias de comida el año pasado.

Hermosa ciudad y restaurante! Muy ocupado con las fiestas locales, pero nos consiguió en y el servicio de todo el personal era excelente y eficiente! La comida era preciosa! Gracias a todo el personal que era perfecto recomendaría este lugar!
