Lydon's Lodge in Conga

Pub and inn combined. Very friendly staff. We enjoyed a few pints (and a couple glasses of wine) listening to an impromptu live band made up of locals coming to “jam” in the true Irish tradition. Lovely experience.

Spent a week in Lydons and got married within that week. Olga & Stephen led an awesome team and provided us with excellent service and quality in every aspect of wedding planning advice and delivery within beautiful Cong. Our guests and ourselves had thee most amazing wedding day surrounded by love and care. Everyone loved it so much that we have booked to return next year. Would certainly recommend it X

Really lovely place to stay in Cong, service and food excellent.. Some of the best food I've eaten in year's great value for money. Rooms large beds very comfortable they have added new mattresses. Great to see a place still investing in itself, rather than cutting back. Will be back.. James

Went there for tea ( advisable to book). Friendly, efficient service, lovely pint of Guinness and so tasty prawn cocktail.

Als kleines Dankeschön für die Gastfreundschaft unserer irischen Freunde gingen wir hier ins Lydon 's. Unkompliziert, schnell und freundlich gab es typisch "irish food" und dazu "a few pints" of Guinness.

Fabulous service in a beautiful location

We couldn’t have chosen a better place than Lydon’s Restaurant to host and cater for the second day of our wedding celebrations. From the moment we met with Olga to book we knew we were in great hands. She guided us through everything, food, music and suggested using the wedding cake as dessert. The food was absolutely incredible and lots of it. Exactingly what’s needed for a day two. Our guests were so impressed. Many guests stayed in the hotel. The service was impeccable, with the staff ensuring that everyone felt cared for and attended to. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, creating the perfect setting for us to unwind with our family and friends after the excitement of our wedding day. Lydon’s Restaurant truly went above and beyond to make our day special. Their attention to detail and dedication to creating a memorable experience was evident in every aspect. We’re so grateful for their role in making our wedding weekend unforgettable. Highly recommended!
