What a amazing spot. Food was to die for and staff were just brilliant . Had music too after meal so huge plus šŸ˜. Just to add though. Huge opportunity to get late bar and get DJ in after live band. Would make a bomb

I went to Lydon Lodge recently for lunch for a work event. What an amazing meal! Everything was absolutely delicious, from starters to dessert. I requested a vegetarian entree and got an excellent dish with beautifully seasoned quinoa and falafel. And we had a gorgeous brie starter that I can't wait to have again. All this in charming surroundings in an excellent location in the heart of lovely Cong. The service was friendly and impeccable. I look forward to visiting again.

Best fish and chips of my life. Good fried, good quality and very very kind waitress who were so kind to let us take a pic behind the bar area. Very clean bathrooms and very calm environment. Nothing I can complain about. Canā€™t wait to come back.

We were a few minutes too early for lunch, but we waited at a table with some drinks. The service was very friendly and the food came fast. Very delicious. Would come again.

01/04/2024: Ended up eating here twice over the weekend including Easter Sunday. Food is absolutely excellent and the place has a great atmosphere. Spotless everywhere from kitchen to the restaurant. We had three Tomahawk steak on the Sunday which was excellent. Starters and mains both days were faultless. The waitresses were really friendly to our young daughters and the colouring pages and crayons were a nice touch. Definitely family friendly and weā€™ll be back during our next visit. We met Paul the chef by chance as we were leaving and he was friendly. Thereā€™s clearly a sense of pride in the great food being served here. Lovely Guinness too!

06/03/2024: Great place! Monster deep-filled sandwiches, baked potatoes, salad and soup. Proper loose-leaf tea, fast, friendly service. And dog friendly (for very well-behaved pups). Highly recommended!
