Mackens The Cape Bar, The Undertakers in Wexford

A good old-fashioned pub does not do food serves drinks and conversations

Arrive in Wexford yesterday and went to Mackens: The Cape Barr for our first drink @ 14:30’ish yesterday and stayed there until closing time last night. The owner “Eddie” was a lovely bloke and as the bar manager “Damien” was the business, a very nice bloke who made us feel very welcome and kept the conversation flowing. Excellent service, Very clean premises and the price of the pints were bang on. Most certainly I’ll be back up to Wexford and looking forward to visiting The Cape again. Great little place to have a few drinks

Eddie Macken is basicallly an institution in Wexford. Very nice guy and extremely efficient staff. Aidan and Seamus in particular.

Just had a drink, very quiet for a Saturday night, no music so we headed out after one.

Has to one of the best pints of Guinness in Wexford, if not Ireland

Great place for a quick pint or a few drinks, and it's nice to sit outdoors and soak up the atmosphere at the weekends, especially in the summer.
