Honestly a full score. My sister is vegetarian and she didn't have to settle for the usual side dishes, instead she got the chance to have a very nice main. My burger was amazing too, and the portions were super generous. The atmosphere was nice and cozy, and even the background noise of the other guests chatting felt relaxing. The service was on point and fast given that the restaurant was pretty busy. The staff was welcoming and friendly.

Although food was great, the young male waiter needs to learn to work. PLUS, he ticked the box of à 10/100 OPTIONAL tip without asking and with a great celerity so my google pay paid before I received my meal bill. This is more than irrelevant. I am a tourist ok but there is limits to behavior.

Excellent dinner featuring lamb stew and curry rice with vegetables. Mussels as an appetizer. Lager beers served. €72 for two people with 10% service charge included. Quick and friendly service.

Abbeyglen Castle Hotel

22/08/2025: We had the best time at this castle. We only stayed a night as we were just passing through and it was a true highlight of the trip. The service was incredible, especially the lovely bartenders. Food was very good, room was comfortable and welcome night was so fun!

We started with exquisite mussels, an explosion of seafood flavors... and then the oysters, truly "out of this world," so fresh and unforgettable that they alone are worth the trip 🦪✨ We stumbled upon this place just by chance, but we found a place that left us with a magical memory.
