The main course was delicious chicken curry. The desert was a chocolate brownie but was extremely burnt from the microwave. Such a pity.

Ended here coincidentally hungry and exhausted after a day out in Connemara. And we had a fantastic meal! Great Chowder, smoothest Calamaris ever and a large tasty peace of cod! Can recommend and will definitely come back 👍

Welcoming staff, very nice food, excellent fish fresh of the day. I had chicken curry and my boyfriend had oysters and calamari and fish pie. Great cocktails! Super recommended

19/06/2025: Welcoming and friendly owner, she even showed off a few words in Italian Good breakfast and excellent espresso (perhaps the only one worthy of being called coffee up to now!)
15/06/2025: LOVELY!!! While looking for a bite to eat, something gluten-free, we found this little cafĂ©. Great food, delicious vegetarian soup of the day, gluten-free sandwich – super friendly service. Definitely recommend it!

The willow tree restaurant clifden

24/05/2025: Great food and fab service for dinner. They squeezed us in without a booking. Only slight downside was regular loud ‘bing bong’ noise presumably to alert waiting staff to food being ready.
23/05/2025: We ate out three times during our stay in Clifden. It was always perfect. The service was very fast and friendly, and the food was very good and plentiful. I highly recommend it.
