Marcello's in Cork

We had lunch at this lovely restaurant and were absolutely blown away by the quality of the ingredients and the great number of vegan and gluten-free options. We had the vegan lasagna (be careful, its very hot), the gluten-free pizza and two pasta dishes. Everything tasted great and the service was phenomenal as well. We finished our wonderful meal with two espresso and hope to come back very soon :)

A lot of vegan options! The vegan arancini were delicious, and my mom enjoyed her aubergine appetizer and spinach cannelloni, which were both vegetarian. The tomato basil soup was underwhelming - it tased like a can of stewed tomatoes with some Italian spices added. The vegan lasagna was dry and microwaved. My son loved his vegan penne arrabiata with vegan chicken but it was lukewarm. The vegan pizza was delicious, and my mom said it was the best she ever had. The service was fantastic and we were spoiled for choice with vegan options but the food was mediocre.

Locals recommended this restaurant. The food is average and no better or worse than any other restaurants serving the similar menu.

Great Italian cousine and the owner takes personally care of the service... my suggestion is Penne al pesto and gorgonzola but any dish is worthy!!

Muy decepcionado, esperábamos algo mejor dadas todas las grandes críticas aquí. El pan de ajo estaba anémico, no creo que viera una parrilla o una tostadora. La morenita de tomate era tan sosa. Tenía el tagliatelle de trufa, literalmente mantequilla con trufa. No pude terminarlo, mi marido tenía carne con salsa de trufa, su carne tenía un sabor raro, dijo "fuera". Muy decepcionante visita.

After grey days, my friend and I had the pleasure of finding Marcello's restaurant. Excellent food, "real" ingredients, excellent quality. All served with an excellent Nero d'Avola and to finish an excellent Amaro del Capo. Marcello is an excellent host and together with his daughter super welcoming ... and everything immediately makes you feel at "home".

Familia encantadora - lugar agradable en el pueblo. Deliciosa y abundante comida, preparada con amor! Un menú largo y otro vegetariano aparte con un montón de opciones. Gran elección de vino e incluso prosecco en el grifo! También un buen lugar para pre-noche - bebidas fuera!
