Lovely restaurant, lovely staff,my reason for 3 stars is that it's overpriced because I thought the food was average

Lovely place for a bite to eat - it was almost full when I visited but they got me a table. Service was quick and the meal was very good and filling. Parking can be a bit of a lottery but keep cruising and s spot will open up. Recommended.

Walked in around 8.30pm as a single and they accommodated me on the one table that had just been vacated …. Had the pate to start with … great flavour, jelly on top had a tang to it to offset the creaminess of the pate. Could have had another piece of crouton or 2 (and I’m sure if I asked they would have obliged) still had some complimentary bread so cleaned it off with that. Main course had the lamb shank … bit of potato overload with mash, bake and fries (sent the fries back) lamb was tasty and tender and the sauce had a good flavour. (Was a bit short on sauce so requested more and it was not an issue.) came with carrots and parsnip which were well cooked and a side bowl of broccoli baby corn and more carrots. Bonus - had a nice tasty Shiraz on the wine list from Australia! Staff were attentive and the place was packed. Definitely recommend.

Best lamb rack eaten here. Very attentive service.

Since many years we love to dine out in Marconi when we travel to Connemara. The atmosphère is excellent, like a home coming, the food is delicious and the bill more than reasonable. I will come back!!!
