Disappointed that I was charged separately for the pancakes & coffee when the menu showed the coffee included. Better staff training required.

We had a great visit here, the food was delicious, and a nice conversation in Irish with a waiter. It's great to have Irish language available in our day to day life!

My spouse and I visited Marguerite's Home Bakery for the first time, and we had a wonderful time! We enjoyed a delicious chocolate cake paired with coffee, and both were absolutely delightful. The cake was rich and moist, and the coffee was perfectly brewed. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff was super polite and attentive, which made the experience even better. We highly recommend Marguerite's Home Bakery to anyone looking for a great café experience!

It took a few minutes for someone to come take our order but the whole town was busy so that's easily understandable. I ordered a tuna melt bap, which was delicious and I swear it weighed every bit of two pounds. Coffee, tea, and dessert were all amazing as well.

Ate here with two friends. Had a BLT which was cold. Both friends had poached eggs which they were not happy with. We didn't say anything about it to staff. The jam pastry and apple cheesecake that we had were also not fresh. We ate there again last week. The three of us ordered pancakes with crispy bacon. While we were waiting we saw a table near us return three orders of poached eggs. Our orders came out stand cold. We told tgd waitress who took them back and came out to say the chef said the bacon was supposed to be crispy. We had no issue with that, just that the food was cold. We were assured we were getting fresh pancakes. When they came out again it was obvious they had just been reheated as the place where we had cut a piece from was clearly visible. We eat there regularly and don't usually have problems but this is twice and we've seen other food returned. Maybe they've changed the chef . Whatever it is, it's not good enough. We pay enough. I don't like leaving a negative review but this time it warrants it.

Lovely food, can't fault it. Quick service and the receipt idea for paying is very handy. The restaurant always has a relaxed environment. It's a great place to eat as a group or alone just for a coffee. One of my favourite places to eat as the food is always delicious no matter what I order. The servers are always very friendly which adds to the dining experience.

Our Trafalgar Tour group was treated to a very rare treat, earlier today. Richard served us all either traditional donuts with cream, rock cakes, or huge sultana scones with butter and jam Lisa, from the Ukraine, served us either tea or coffee. Marguerites is a very well established family bakery and we all truly enjoyed visiting thre.
