Market Lane in Cork

This was my second visit, and once again, I can say it’s an excellent restaurant. On my first visit, I had the spicy monkfish—it was perfectly cooked, well-presented, and tasted very fresh with no off flavors. The service was impeccable: prompt and friendly. Despite how busy it was, I easily got a seat and was served right away. I also tried their beer flight, which features three different selections from the nearby brewery. ​On my second visit, I had the hake with aubergine, peppers, and roasted potatoes, paired with a pint of Angel Stout. I decided to indulge in dessert and went with the honeycomb chocolate brownie with salted caramel and vanilla ice cream. Since the restaurant was full, I was seated at the bar counter, but it was still a great experience with wonderfully friendly staff!

Nice restaurant offering a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options, everything is very good, good value for money!

Had dinner here while visiting from the US. Perhaps one of the best meals we’ve had in years. Flavorful and unique entrees with an excellent beer, cocktail, and dessert offerings. The staff was friendly, entertaining, and professional. Highest recommendations!

Not a big place, but this is part of the charm of it. Always buzzing but not the type that makes you shout to hear each other. Service is perfect, food is gorgeous and the atmosphere is busy, friendly and inviting. Highly recommend. Will keep coming back.

The sirloin had tough sinew but good flavor. Enjoyed the steak at PHX Bistro more as the meat was more tender and more flavorful.

Both of our meals were excellent and reasonably priced. Very nice inside and next to a bunch of other nightlife.

I really enjoyed it! Our meal cost around €45 for the two of us. We ordered the steak sandwich and the bacon with carrot cream. A bottle of water was included.

Fantastic kids menu including a delicious 'homemade baby bowl' with puréed potato, chicken, and (I think) carrots. Main lunch menu also delicious. Lovely spot, quick service (plenty of staff on shift so it was always easy to catch someone). Very clean bathroom/baby change.

Atmosphere and service are exceptional. Food wasn't the best, but fresh, innovative.
