Market Lane in Cork

Unfortunately this place was certainly over rated. The French onion soup was , the chips were Luke warm and covered with an aromatic spice or seasoning that was not listed. Disappointing as reviews are great.

Fantastic food and service. Always a must when we visit Cork. Definitely need a reservation. Try avoid upstairs unless your a group, just a better atmosphere downstairs at low or high tables or even at the bar. Highly Recommend. Given it's always busy says how good it is.

We initially chose this restaurant because it was one of the few open on a Monday evening. We weren't disappointed! The restaurant is quite large—two full floors plus an outdoor area—and was very crowded the evening we were there. As a result, it was quite noisy, but we could still have a conversation. The extensive menu features fresh, regional products, especially fish and shellfish, prepared with care. The kitchen is refreshingly bold in modernizing traditional regional recipes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. They also serve delicious craft beer from the neighboring brewery—another highlight. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We were in Cork for a rugby match. We didn't have a booking but we're accommodated in what was a very busy restaurant with politeness and ease. There was a great atmosphere as there were plenty more Munster supporters there. Looking forward to a return visit

Delicious food, varied menu with plenty of options. I've dined here a few times now, each time the food is consistently delicious, fresh ingredients. The cocktails and cocktails are gorgeous too. Staff are lovely and the menu prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the dishes.
