Excellent fresh and delicious food in a casual, cozy setting. Although Market Lane is predominantly a fish restaurant, they have a decent selection for everyone. The fish dishes are exceptionally fresh abs tasty with a slight lean towards pub grub but far more refined. There was only one vegan option for starter and main. However, it was very obviously not an afterthought, and the dishes were innovative, delicious, and presented perfectly. The wine selection is great, and the cocktails are works of art. Service is also unbeatable. A great all rounder with something for everyone.

large group Christmas night out. ML was excellent, Xmas set menu was extensive with monkfish, steak, pheasant pie to name a few. Service was so well organised for a group our size and we were very well looked after. 2.5 hrs was plenty of time for group of 24. I very much look forward to returning

Haute cuisine at a very good price in the old town of Cork. I dare say that the entire letter was made with great attention to detail. There was a lot of variety of dishes and their flavors were very elaborate and accomplished😌👌. The Mussels were delicious, with a slight oriental touch. The Monkfish was exquisite and very well done and with a perfect accompaniment of baked potatoes and pumpkin puree. The Baked Bacon Neck was pure butter/honey. Each bite was a tribute to the palate. The restaurant has a tap of homemade beers which are delicious. I tried the Jawbone and the Elbow and thought they were exquisite beers to eat. 🤤🍺 They treated us wonderfully and the waiter was attentive the entire time. Absolutely fantastic lunch menu. We had crispy torn chicken and salad, and duck sandwich. Lemon pannacotta for dessert and bohemian raspberry cocktail. Delish! And great staff and friendly atmosphere.

Our first time eating here yesterday. Staff very friendly and efficient . I was so impressed with their gluten free and lactose free menus.and lovely choices . Kate was so helpful and all staff so nice. I think it will be my favourite restaurant .
