Second time here — this time for lunch — and it definitely didn’t disappoint. From the welcome to the service and all the way through to the bill, everything was spot on. Had a really great time again and we’ll definitely be back. Plus, the food is amazing!

Fabulous lunch in Cork City. Mushroom soup, cheddar beignets, and delicious calamari. I never made it past the starters. Full GF menu on request.

Absolutely wonderful lunch, very friendly and welcoming staff, great menu, good value. Our waitress Claire was a delight. Fantastic food and great wine list, almost all available by the glass.

The Long Valley

25/08/2026: Finally got to get a sandwich here. Finally got a little corner table inside. On previous visits I've been relegated to standing outside or standing in the way of others, but you can see why it's popular. Everyone who worked here had a good vibe about them, the taplist is vast and caters for all, and the food was coming out like a well oiled machine - efficient, hearty, consistent. I'd come back and stand, happily. But I'm glad I got to get in early and see it step into gear as Sunday got off the ground. Will remain one of my favourites in Cork.
19/08/2026: Fantastic bar in the city centre. Friendly staff and the toasted sandwiches are incredible! Well worth a visit.
