My first time staying and it won’t be my last.
What a wonderful place.
An absolute oasis of calm within the city.
The staff are wonderful, the rooms are very well appointed, and the views from the garden and over the garden are just stunning.
I have a new favourite place to stay in Cork

Honestly the only hotel I'll use in Cork again, treated my father and his fiancée Yui very well!

Our new favourite hotel to stay when we go to Cork. The staff are just so professional and warm - right through from check in to the bar/restaurant. The hotel is lovely and clean and surrounded by lovely mature gardens. Such a sense of calm and peace. Dinner & breakfast in Bellini's was very enjoyable and even the bar food is very good. The bedrooms are very well appointed and really comfy. We'd highly recommend Maryborough.

Todo el personal era genial, pero el bar era caro si querías entrar en Douglas tenías que subir una colina muy empinada para salir del terreno. No es bueno para huéspedes mayores. Están tratando de actualizar las instalaciones mientras los huéspedes están in situ.

Cannot recommend The Maryborough enough. Just had my wedding there last month, and all of the staff were wonderful, incredibly accommodating, and always on hand to help.
The food for the dinner was beautiful, the orangery is stunning, the spa is amazing. My wife and I are still beaming from ear to ear when we think about how great everyone was.
To Mary, Claire, Eilis, and everyone who helped us along the way, THANK YOU!

We went here for our anniversary and it was a lovely hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful, we were upgraded to a hotel room with a balcony and prosecco on arrival, such a lovely touch, the hotel itself is beautiful, and lovely grounds, unfortunately it rained the whole time that we were there, so I seen very little of cork city itself, maybe next time. Our bedroom had a lovely big bed and comfortable pillows, we had a small kettle and very poor choice in coffee and tea, with 2 sad little biscuits, for a 4 star hotel I really thought it would have a coffee machine in the room itself, as the room had everything else that you could ask for, so it was very dissipointing after driving 5 hours, not to get a decent coffee, we had breakfast in the hotel twice,, first morning was a disaster, everything we seem to ask for, we didn't get, or it was poorly cooked, saying that, we had a little cheese board in the evenings with some drinks and it was lovely, we also had dinner here, which was terrible, we both had the fish and chips, the batter was beautiful but the fish wasn't fully cooked through in the middle, as for the peas, absolutely terrible, I've never seen dried out mashed up peas with no flavour, I just give up as this stage on the food end of it, thankfully we met a lovely man called john Coleman who works there, such an asset to the place,, he was so helpful in every way, so was kieran the restaurant manager, he made sure our breakfast was thoroughly cooked on our last morning, and big thank you to john for the lovely cream tea and prosecco, a lovely gesture, my partner loved the pool but unfortunately he hadn't time to enjoy a massage at their lovely spa, as it was fully booked all day, so he was a little disappointed. But I have to say, I loved our stay here, and I will return in the future, hopefully the food in the bar improves and it will be just perfect 👌

A very nice hotel in a fantastic location, beautiful rooms, great breakfast, with a well-kept spa and very good bus connections. The staff are very friendly. Especially John and Fidelma from guest services deserve a very positive mention. They supported and looked after us very well in an emergency! The hotel is highly recommended for exploring Cork and the surrounding area!
