The food was very good. The service was polite and prompt. We enjoyed the ribs and beef stew. Both were filling. We were disappointed that there was no live music but it was a very quiet Monday night.

Two couples went for meal about 8PM. Place was not too busy and atmosphere was good. Friendly staff served us. Other couple had Pizza and Caesar Salad which was fine but we had Fresh Fish with Fries. Fish was rubbery and Fries overdone. Would go back for drinks in the future but will not be dining.

We just had drinks here and didn’t get food. It was Sunday and not too busy at all. Nice vibe staff are friendly and accommodating.

In the city of pubs (more pubs per inhabitant of Ireland) this one is worth it, a warm atmosphere, next to the River and pints at €7, an affordable price. I haven't eaten and I can't comment, the downstairs living room is very cool. Advisable

Beautiful Irish pub, an authentic atmosphere, the girls who serve you are charming, without a doubt the ideal place to have a good beer in Kilkenny in good company.

I liked this bar, there was a nice atmosphere, good drinks menu & friendly staff but unfortunately not one person in our party of 8 thought the food was more than average. It was very disappointing, food was overcooked and didn’t seem to be good quality

Tutto veramente buono, abbiamo ma visto sia le ribs che la sirloin beef 8oz ed il gusto era davvero eccellente. Complimenti anche al personale gentile e cordiale. Accompagnamento musicale dal vivo che nn guasta con musica tipica irlandese. Consiglio vivamente di passare una splendida serata.

20/01/2025: We stumbled upon this cozy and friendly bar our first night in Ireland. We are American and were looking for a place to watch the American Football game. This bar had it on the TV towards the back. Although I can't speak to the food we did have some wonderful drinks and entertainment. We ordered a smith, a Guiness and plenty of Jameson gingers. All the drinks were great, but what made the experience was the live entertainment and the patrons of this bar. The patrons seemed to consist of many regulars or friends of the regulars. We met Charlie the bartender who was so kind to everyone including us. He took the time to talk to me about our trip and showed sympathy about the current political climate in the US. We also met other travelers and now have new friends. I recommend this bar if you are passing through Kilkenny and I hope to go back one day.
21/12/2024: This little bar is so full of life. There was live music when I visited and people singing along to songs they knew. Loved the atmosphere. I don’t think they have food though.
