Friday night, we showed up without a booking and were shown to a table immediately. Service from friendly, smiling staff was excellent and quick, and the quality of the food was great. To cap it off, the band were exceptional, playing Irish classics beautifully. A fantastic experience, in summary

Discovered this pub in Kilkenny, the food is good, the atmosphere is very nice and a special mention to Katarzyna our waitress who was lovely and gave us recommendations of things to visit in the city!

Didn't have food but the atmosphere was amazing, so welcoming! The staff were absolutely brilliant and made us feel very welcome. The artist sang Happy Birthday to my mam. Highly recommend

Orchard House Bar

21/03/2026: We had a great stay here for a week because of work and visiting family. Everything was perfect, from the very comfortable, quiet rooms to the great breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s the perfect setting with a restaurant and bar as part of it, so it was a very enjoyable week and made even better with just a very friendly welcome every morning as if we were family. We’d definitely recommend and we’ll be back here to stay next time in Kilkenny.
23/01/2026: Room is nice, very Comfortable bed. Food was extremely good plus staff servicing the food were excellent and so friendly. Recommend the Orchard House.
