Absolutely lovely evening spent here. Food was excellent and a very high quality with loads of lovely flavours. The atmosphere was cosy and kind. It was not pretentious at all. The staff went above and beyond to make sure you had everything and enjoyed your evening.

This is a gem of a restaurant in Kinsale. I visited with colleagues on a weekday evening and had a wonderful time. Everything was excellent, especially the fish steak, which was the best I've had in Europe. The staff were friendly, and the wine they recommended paired well with it. I'd love to visit again.

11/02/2026: There's not much to say: the fish is showcased beautifully in a setting that suits it. However, is it worth the price? I'll let you be the judge.
10/02/2026: We had heard many good things about this restaurant, but the food was a bit underwelming. The quality was great and very tasty, but it was not an exceptional meal. If you feel like a good meal at great value then this restaurant is a good spot. But we felt that as a seafood restaurant the fish dishes could have been a bit more innovative.

08/10/2025: A cracking little local pub with a really lovely atmosphere, open fire and good pints.
19/09/2025: Perfect, local pub. Sorry to miss Mary, but Brian is terrific. We saw Mary this visit (2025). She's awesome! Doing the ghost tour Sunday!
