Greate place! Tasty food, and friendly and welcoming staff. I really like the tiny garden they have on the back!

We had a wonderful experience here! The food, service, atmosphere and location were absolutely perfect for a nice, leisurely dinner in one of the coolest areas of Ireland. The Restaurant is owner-run by Anne Marie (front of house) and her husband Olivier (head chef). The Chef’s French fare with an Irish twist is not to be missed.. Our server Anne-Marie was absolutely adorable. She was witty, kind, knowledgeable and all around delightful. We left their establishment incredibly satisfied and pleased! Yum

Wonderful small menu, everything done extremely well

We were fortunate enough to try this restaurant after a recommendation from the owners of Kinsale Mead Co., and it did not disappoint! They were able to accommodate for my having celiacs, even during their fixed menu hours. They even allowed for me to select a side not on the menu, only available for those with allergens (Butternut Squash Soup, it was delicious!). The nasturtium used in some of their dishes was sourced from just outside the restaurant, in the picturesque little patio area out back, which I think really highlights the character of this place. I was able to eat here safely, and really enjoy the meal, as did the rest of my party. The staff was exceptionally helpful! They were always willing to answer any of my questions, and also confirmed that each dish was gluten free without me even having to ask. They even went as far as to bring out a little gluten free bread before my entree, so that I might enjoy it along with my party's regular bread, something I've never experienced before! Delicious meal overall, with an incredible staff and beautiful location. So thankful to have been able to experience this on my trip.

A very, very good restaurant, with very refined food (you can tell the chef is French 😉), and the waiters are really nice and attentive. We were even lucky enough to have a French-Irish waitress! The fish is excellent and you can tell it's fresh; I highly recommend it!

Amazing experience. The monkfish was like two huge chunks of lobster meat. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my wife’s lactose intolerance.

We feel very lucky to have managed to get in to this little gem of a restaurant on our last night in Ireland. A short menu of freshly made dishes. Great! All options were imaginative, packed with flavour and beautifully presented. Portions were a perfect size - not too big. We cleared our plates at each course - no waste and we were replete. And to accompany the lovely food, we enjoyed a bottle of reasonably priced French vermentino, which we have taken details of and hope to find again. We finished with a small glass of the ‘sticky’ of our choice wi the our deserts. Staff were all charming. We loved this place. Get there if you can.

This was a nice dinner. I had Monkfish and it was amazing! Delicious! We made reservations at least a few weeks in advance. It books up quickly.

First time in Kinsale and searched restaurants came across this restaurant and thought we would try for a last minute booking. Apparently they reopened last night. Food was amazing simply some of the best seafood I have had. Definitely the best squid and the best Monkfish I have ever eaten, cooked to perfection. Staff were flat out, but they were friendly and attentive. 10/10 I’m sure we will be back
