Mc Governs in Malahide

Lovely local restaurant. I had to try the Fish and Chips and they couldn’t have been any better. Perfectly cooked.

First time here and we will return. The lady running FOH was very hospitable and runs a good show.

We celebrated a birthday here recently for a party of 10 people. The menu was fab and the servers were friendly professional and very efficient

Beautiful place, like been a home, nothing fancy but certainly delicious. Rachael and her team were fantastic.

Cajun chicken wrap was really delightful, and i finished with tea and chocolate pot with ice-cream for dessert. Loved both dishes, so would definitely come back!

Booked for a Friday evening. Sat outside for a drink. Let the waitress know we had a table booked. Moved inside and noticed McGoverns had emailed me saying we were 15 mins late, which we weren't. We both had a steak, mine the fillet, and my husband, the rib eye. Honestly, this meal was 10 out of 10. I had garlic roast potatoes with mine, and everything I got was so tasty. I had booked other restaurants in Malahide and being honest could have happily dined here for the weekend. Service outside wasn't so great, but inside was a different story, excellent service. We have dined here before, not sure why it's not the number one place to dine in Malahide, in my view the food is delicious. Definitely be back!
