Amazing food. Amazing service. Locals serving their hearts on a platter in the form of food. As a vegetarian didn't have more than one dish to pick from, but that one dish won our hearts. Their hot chocolate was amazing as well

I got the Apple and Goats cheese and walnut salad. It was very nice and the portion was huge! I asked them to add some sliced beef which wasn't a problem I actually had to bring the rest home it was that big and too good to leave behind!

Delicious! The is where I discovered that the Irish make the most delicious tuna melt sandwiches I've ever tasted. Tuna complete with corn and caramelized onions on hearty grilled bread. OMG! I had a few more that were almost as good on the next 10 days of our trip. Excellent cafe!

We went here for lunch and had delicious sandwiches. Very clean and lovely mannerly staff. It’s in the middle of Cong and a busy place. You can get any sandwich under the sun and they all look amazing . Great place to go. We will be back.

25/10/2024: Pat Cohan's Bar es un pub/restaurante ubicado en Cong, una pequeña ciudad, donde se rodó la película "The Quiet Man". Es un excelente restaurante, donde vinimos a cenar. Decidí comer una sopa de marisco como mi primer plato, ron de cordero asado como mi plato principal y una cerveza de la ciudad de Westport como bebida. Menú realmente maravilloso y restaurante muy cómodo. Muy recomendable.

10/01/2025: We couldn’t have chosen a better place than Lydon’s Restaurant to host and cater for the second day of our wedding celebrations. From the moment we met with Olga to book we knew we were in great hands. She guided us through everything, food, music and suggested using the wedding cake as dessert. The food was absolutely incredible and lots of it. Exactingly what’s needed for a day two. Our guests were so impressed. Many guests stayed in the hotel. The service was impeccable, with the staff ensuring that everyone felt cared for and attended to. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, creating the perfect setting for us to unwind with our family and friends after the excitement of our wedding day. Lydon’s Restaurant truly went above and beyond to make our day special. Their attention to detail and dedication to creating a memorable experience was evident in every aspect. We’re so grateful for their role in making our wedding weekend unforgettable. Highly recommended!
28/11/2024: I attended a family birthday party in Lydons, Cong and I can't praise it enough. The food was fantastic and excellent service (group of eighty people). Its a small family run hotel and I highly recommend it.
