Delicious! The is where I discovered that the Irish make the most delicious tuna melt sandwiches I've ever tasted. Tuna complete with corn and caramelized onions on hearty grilled bread. OMG! I had a few more that were almost as good on the next 10 days of our trip. Excellent cafe!

We went here for lunch and had delicious sandwiches. Very clean and lovely mannerly staff. It’s in the middle of Cong and a busy place. You can get any sandwich under the sun and they all look amazing . Great place to go. We will be back.

We visited the area for the quiet man museum & a walk round we stopped off in this cafe before leaving. Soup of the day & the manwich (image attached) would highly recommend both.

Really good coffee and the breakfast was so tasty. Great prices too. I noticed the staff were very attentive always glancing at table passing insuring everything was in order. I'll definitely be back if in Cong again.

Wonderful place to eat, if you want to have breakfast it is amazing! The honey glazed ham with the full Irish is to die for.

Best banana bread (toasted with butter) I have had outside of Aus! Staff really took time to ensure we got what we wanted and were happy. Perfect breakfast/lunch.

11/10/2024: I had the pleasure of dining at a Lydons that has quickly become my new favorite spot for seafood. The mussels were simply divine. Perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, they were a true highlight of the meal. I was so impressed that we decided to return the very next day to try something different. The seafood pasta was a revelation. Every bite was a symphony of flavors. To round out our meal, we also tried the classic sandwich, which was equally delicious. The burger was delicious and the fillings were generous and flavorful. If you're a seafood lover, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

25/10/2024: Pat Cohan's Bar es un pub/restaurante ubicado en Cong, una pequeña ciudad, donde se rodó la película "The Quiet Man". Es un excelente restaurante, donde vinimos a cenar. Decidí comer una sopa de marisco como mi primer plato, ron de cordero asado como mi plato principal y una cerveza de la ciudad de Westport como bebida. Menú realmente maravilloso y restaurante muy cómodo. Muy recomendable.
30/09/2024: I have wanted to make this a bucket list destination for many years. We had the email reservation acknowledgment and showed it to the hostess. She sat us at the bar and gave us menus. I said no thanks. They then arranged a table (they weren't busy, open tables around us). we got the cold shoulder during service, but I didn't care. I finally got to say I ate there.
