McGeough's in Dundalk

Warm and friendly restaurant / bar in beautiful surroundings, serving good wholesome food with very pleasant service. I can recommend the beef and Guinness stew.

Excellent. I had the famous open steak sandwich which was beautifully cooked and delicious. Possibly a bit pricey but isn’t everywhere these days!

Lovely restaurant/bar. Staff were excellent but table arrangements could have been better for tye function 😉

Staff were clearing our table while we were eating and we were not offered dessert menu for a large group or made aware the kitchen would be closed when placing our orders shortly after 8pm when our main arrived and an additional side order of chips was requested unable to get it as cookers were off.

Nice place to eat. Excellent service and a bonus, the toilets were spotless and smelled like a spa.

Called in for a casual Friday night dinner and a few drinks. Had the wings to share for starters, then I had the steak sandwich for mains and my wife had the cajun chicken Burger. Both were amazing!

Fab food and staff so friendly. Busy place but the staff were accommodating to me and my 4 friends in getting us seated. Service was speedy and food was great.

I visited here on Sunday with my partner and family. It was my birthday and my partner made a flippant comment about me not paying “Because it was my birthday”. The waiter overheard and at dessert time some of the servers came out singing and with a candle in my dessert ! It was a lovely touch and a great end to a beautiful meal 👍
