Stayed here plenty of times throughout the years. We have family close by. Its the perfect location in the heart of Carlingford, the staff are lovely, the rooms are perfect. This remains our no1 choice of hotel in the area !! Jo Birmingham

Fantastic pub restaurant. Booked a family get together for 10 people. The food and staff were lovely. Very refreshing that they didn’t automatically add gratuity too. More than happy to leave a tip when the food and service are fab, as they were on our visit.

Spent 3 days in the lovely village of Carlingford and stayed in McKevitt's where were had a relaxing weekend. The staff, food, ambience and decor did not disappoint! The only criticism was (and I can only mention our room) the windows could be doing with a sealing trim otherwise thanks to Terry and staff, we'll definitely be back.

Always the place to go to avoid the main madness of other pubs. Still a very good atmosphere and excellent pint of guinness. The band on Saturday night were superb. Great music and loads of laughs. Everything a Saturday night out in Ireland should be.

13/12/2024: Just returned from GH after a 2-night birthday celebration & it was just perfect from start to finish. The house itself, the staff, service, rooms..everything was just wonderful. But the food needs a special mention, every morsel was delicious. We were lucky to be there for the Christmas Candlelight dinner (tasting menu) with carols & songs from the musicals by soprano Sarah McCourt. Thank you Paul & team for a memorable stay. Wishing you all a happy & peaceful Christmas 🎄

03/01/2025: A great night with absolutely fabulous food. Oysters delicious, steak fantastic and baileys cheesecake and a complimentarylimmoncello! ...mmm
01/12/2024: We walked by a number of times and finally looked at the menu and decided to go for dinner, wish we did it earlier. We had someone get the steak they loved it three people got the halibut and they loved it and I got the Dover Sole and it was unreal. Don’t walk by stop on in and have the meal!
