McMahon's in Maynooth

Great pub, It's 5 years since I last posted, but this place has gotten even better. The staff are sublime at every level, the food too, simple proper food. Indeed last week I was with my two golf buddies and they had the bacon and cabbage with all trimmings.......fantastic place. And dancing in the bar too on a Sunday....be prepared for good food, great staff and dancing 🕺 😋

Called in for an impromptu visit for Sunday lunch. Staff were very pleasant and we were seated immediately and given menus. Our drinks order was taken. We both opted for the gourmet beef burger and fries with a delicious pepper sauce. The burger was gorgeous as were the fries . The pepper sauce complimented the meal perfectly. For dessert I had lemon cheesecake and my partner had Christmas pudding. All in all a perfect lunch.

We like to eat on Sunday afternoons. Excellent service, friendly employees, family atmosphere, varied menu. Affordable prices. One of the best restaurants in Maynooth.

Best pub in Maynooth! We were in town for a week and went to the pub for a dinner and had a really nice surprise with the quiz night, we had so much fun. We played as España FC!

Yet again we called in as a family for dinner and were greeted by a friendly happy sally with her usual smile who got us all sorted with a cosy place to eat . The food was absolutely gorgeous with top class service with a smile. Thanks again Sally your a gem and an asset to mcmahons💯

Arrived into the lounge we asked had they a free table they did there best us a table. It was very busy in there but staff were very friendly and helpfull

I have just had a fabulous freshly cooked breakfast. It has to be one of the best. Keep up the great food and service

Been several times. The service has always been brilliant and very attentive. The food really hits the spot, and good portion sizes at a very reasonable price. The apple crumble with creme anglaise, and cream goes down a treat. The only small point is that the bathrooms, though clean, could do with some updating. The tap would not run long enough to really wash hands or rinse them.
