Merry's in Dungarvan

A lovely little pub/restaurant. Friendly and jovial staff. I got the Guinness Game pie accompanied by lovely mixture of veg. Only thing I found initially was I was cold. A draft from the front door seemed to be catching my back. Once food came out I was able to remove my jacket and eat. It was the only flaw of the evening. Don't let that deter you enjoying good food. I was driving so stuck to the non alcoholic drinks but I must say the Guinness looked good and can guarantee the Guinness pie was delicious.

Was here with a large group for a set menu platter type lunch and the food was wonderful - ribs cooked to perfection, chicken goujons, and the most amazing black pudding and goats cheese spring rolls. The vegetarian alternative was an amazing assortment as well. It was a relaxed setting, with our own room all to ourselves, no rush at all. Highly recommend.

Overall a very nice place. Very atmospheric. Good service. Large portions and delicious, with the exception of the Guinness pie. The meat was sour, it’s not clear why. Considering that everything else was very tasty, then 5-

Absolutely splendid place! The food was unreal and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Really enjoyable experience can’t recommend this place enough. Emiline and Emily are the nicest and on the ball!! The best bar / restaurant in Dungarvan!! Drinks were top notch. Nicest Guinness I’ve had in a LONG time. Thank you!! Worth every penny!

We had a lovely lunch here. It was so nice to find a kid friendly spot that also let the doggos in too. Highly recommend.

A bit noisy but what pub isn't coming up to Christmas? Good service.
