Merry's in Dungarvan

Great pub, lovely food, good staff and very well run. A gem in Dungarvan. Have been lots of times for food and look forward to going more..

Went early on sunday enroute to cork, we were the first customers , so it was very quiet. Had the roasted duck breast - with a lovely sauce - excellent👏

When you walk in you know you are in a special place. It is warm and welcoming, and there is an immediate air of proud heritage and friendly atmosphere. The food is high quality and very tasty, and the selection of wines quite diverse and amazing. The service is as expected, top notch. We look forward to returning for the live music.

Delicious food reasonably priced with a comfortable pub atmosphere. Excellent burger and chips.

Was down in Dungarvan for the weekend and was in Merry’s both nights. There was brilliant music both nights and the staff were lovely. In particular the two managers were excellent, you would of thought they owned the place with the thought and effort they were putting into to running it

A must go to in Dungarvan and one of my favourites, the ribs are unreal and the Guinness goes down perfectly with them! I always recommend people to visit when staying around the corner at DeiseTownHouse!

A great establishment, epitomising good Irish hospitality! Fish soup (not your usual Chowder) was delicious with a lovely assortment of fish. Best dish was the special, a fresh fillet of hake on greens with a side of potatoes with chorizo (the potatoes could have been crispier i.e. finished pan fried). Staff very competent and the Guinness was first-rate with the head sticking to the length of the glass. Overall, a great meal out in Dungarvan! Looking forward to a return visit.

We had a lovely meal on our recent visit to Merrys. Good food, great atmosphere and had a few lovely pints to wash it all down .
