Monroe's in Galway

My partner and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Munroes, and we owe a big thanks to Sarah. She was incredibly attentive and friendly. The music performed by Don Stiffe was fantastic; he truly is a remarkable talent.

Traditional Irish bar/diner with an excellent atmosphere & service. If you like seafood, I would highly recommend the muscles in white wine sauce as a main, you get an absolute bucket full..!!! 👍

Absolutely packed but nice waitstaff helped us to get moved to a table for dinner. Trad session was fun. All of meals very good!

Great service! Food came out very quickly, and our drinks were never empty for long. The live music was amazing!

It's Saturday, the bar is very lively, and therefore very noisy. The restaurant area is quieter, with very decent and varied cuisine, and there's often live Irish music on the first floor. (saw "Ceol" on 05/17/25)

Nous avons dégusté un hamburger absolument succulent chez Monroe’s Tavern. La viande était juteuse et bien assaisonnée, le pain frais, et les garnitures savoureuses. Les portions étaient généreuses, parfaites pour satisfaire un bon appétit. Combiné à l’excellent service, au vaste choix de bières et à l’ambiance animée avec musique live, ce repas a été un vrai plaisir. Un endroit à recommander sans hésiter pour bien manger et passer un bon moment à Galway.
