The chowder (fish soup) was so delicious🤤 as was the Irish coffee. And the staff is so friendly! I highly recommend this place.

Called in for a few pints on a Sunday afternoon during our trip to Galway, the bar was busy but service was quick and the staff were very friendly. Really good pint of stout and great atmosphere.

A really great pub! Unfortunately, we only discovered it on our last evening in Galway! The live music was fantastic! The atmosphere was simply amazing! We'd love to come back again!

Excellent place!! Great food and service. Staff was really good and kind. Music was amazing. We tried their starters. We tried chicken wings and mussels. Chicken wings were hot but it was still really good. Will definitely come back to try more.

Wonderful place on Sunday afternoon, great music and dancing. Really friendly place, while we didn't eat the people beside us raved about their food. Loads of events on throughout the week we are told with plenty of music

My wife and I stopped by for dinner while we were walking around the west end. We sat outside at one of the street tables and "people- watched". The bacon & cabbage, as well as the leek sausages were excellent.

The Seafood Bar @ Kirwan's

22/12/2025: There was no room inside, so we ate outside. The service was excellent. The medium-sized oysters were quite good, but the fish and chips were even better—good fish, perfectly fried, and served with hand-cut chips. We liked the place. A good experience.
16/12/2025: Excellent food & service. Black sole was fantastic. The only issue we had and not the fault of the restaurant but another customer picking her teeth with the dessert menu… obviously we didn’t take a dessert menu.
