Off the beaten path a bit, but an absolute smash of a restaurant. From their perfect brown bread to fish-filled chowder to the oysters to the best Irish coffee I've ever had, this meal was an experience I'll never forget. This is worth the trip from Galway or anywhere else, for that matter. I'll be thinking about Moran's for a long time! Parking is a bit informal but you can figure it out. Seating is ample inside, plus they have a large outdoor seating area that overlooks the water (not suitable for December, sadly).

Staff are friendly and accommodating (we arrived early at 12:30 but they were happy to seat us). Food is delicious and fresh!

My husband had a delicious duck dinner today in Morans- so good we took one home,but we were so disappointed - the sauce (jus) was dreadful and spoiled the whole dinner. What a pity !!!

My wife and I both went there for supper tonight and had a wonderful meal. This place has been there for years. I had a prawn toast with Arugula and this delightful Marie Rose Sauce that was excellent. My wife had the bread crumb encrusted Baked Oysters that were also excellent. She also had a Goat Cheese and beet salad that was very good while I had a bowl of seafood Chowder that was the best I have had here in Ireland. We also had a nice conversation with one of the new servers here named Diogo who was from Portugal. He was a delightful young man who had only been at this restaurant for one week but his knowledge of the menu was just splendid. He will be a good asset to be this restaurant.
