Mulcahys in Kenmare

A super lovely restaurant. The food was fantastic with good portion sizes and the staff was super kind. It is imperative that you book ahead as they fill up. There are however, a couple small tables outside that are first come first serve which are in the evening sun but nevertheless an option if you haven't booked ahead. We had a great meal and enjoyed very much.

Delicious food and friendly staff. The Beef Wellington did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend coming here!

A really lovely place to dine, the food is well presented and very tasty, spacious seating inside or outside on the sunny occasion.

The cauliflower was so good, was so close to ordering another one! The staff were all fantastic and so kind- best service we’ve had in a restaurant in a while!!

Excellemt turbot, pork croquettas with crackling. Beef wellington is the signature dish. Very busy on weekends. We booked 2 days in advance but 4 would be better. Two GnTs, 2 courses each and 2 glasses of good wine. Change from €150

Lucked out with this place ! We didn’t have reservation but they were able to accommodate us, amazing food and service, highly recommended

Really good food. Perhaps a victim of its own success as the restaurant was packed and the service was perhaps a little bit on the slower side as a result. Regarding the food, the beef wellington and fish pie were both incredible, as were the potato skins. Overall I would highly recommend for the quality of the food.

Had a couple of lovely meals at Mulcahys, after first trying it based on the recommendation of my B&B host. Ordered a started and a couple different small plates on each visit to try some different things, and everything was really amazing; bold and surprising flavours in every dish. The main dining room is classy but welcoming, kind of an old-school steakhouse vibe, with some lovely artwork on display.

Beef Wellington is something rare these days and it was incredible. The desert menu is focused around their apple tart for 2. The service was ok, a lot of sitting around waiting for my empty plates to be cleared. But the food was delicious.
