Murphy's in Killarney

We had the privilege of staying at Murphys and fell in love not only with the charming town, the hotel, the bar, but especially the people! Everyone who works here are fun and kind! Mary and Mark especially made the extra effort to make our stay an amazing time. Despite the live music on weekends, our room was quiet and very large! The room was also extremely clean with a comfy bed and the hotel itself is a perfect location for walking around Killarney. It’s also only a short walk to Killarney house and an easy leisurely walk to the beautiful Killarney National Park. Lastly, the fish and chips and apple pie were delicious, must order with a side of Guinness of course. Great breakfast as well! Thank you Murphys! We can’t wait to be back. Came in for lunch and to get out of the freezing rain and cold. Food was very nice and hearty, staff where attentive and nice, cost of food was excellent. If your looking for somewhere with a pub vibe and good food, can't go wrong here, highly recommend.

Food was excellent and the environment was great

We stopped in for a pint and some live music. There was a great ambiance and we really enjoyed our visit. We ended up staying longer than expected and having a couple of pints.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The room was very comfortable and clean and feels like it was recently refurbished. Breakfast in the pub was good with a wide selection of food, and all the other meals we ate there during our stay were enjoyable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We were on the top floor and the room was very light but the view was largely of the roofs around us, and lower floors were likely to be dark.
